This workbook is great for GT kids in 3rd-4th grade. The workbook contains over 100 pages of material that have six -24 question practice tests. Although some of the questions can be answered by average students, most of them are certainly intended for advanced students.These series of workbooks are useful for the assessment and development of thinking skills;Some of the content can be quite challenging to my son but he is willing to work on them and has learned a lot. His teacher also recommends the Gifted and Talented math program on the Beestar website for systematic GT learning. Their exercises are full of colorful and engaging content that my son loves. Parents of gifted children should check out these very useful resources!

My daughter likes to do the Math Kangaroo test sheets till we ran out and I was so excited to get this book, but only found out it frustrated both child and parents. The problem style is not even close to the MK test style, a lot of problems are very long and some even took me a while to just figure out what it wants to say. Very disappointed.

It is a nice book, but too fewer questions. I felt it is a waste of paper becuse of too much margins of this book.

I wouldn't say this is the best book for Math Kangaroo preparation as there are number of questions (in fact quite a lot) that is just to confuse the kids... The answers can be different depending on where you start and end counting which is like a nit-picking grammar/English problem rather than a math question.There is no solution to the questions only answers making it less useful.I would recommend going with official Math Kangaroo (previous year) exam questions - the questions are carefully selected and worded; and it has solutions.
