This was the best option for off road on motorcycle
This is a must for solo hiking, off road motorcycling, biking and 4x4 adventuring and travel etc. It works when there is not cell reception or it is sketchy. It takes some time to figure out how to use it and set up. Go to the App store on your I-phone and downloaded explorer and messenger apps. Once you open the app and signup it will walk you through the setup. I went for the mid priced $29 month (40 texts) deal and the $40 per year rescue insurance. Turn on the In-reach Mini 2 and go outside so it finds a satellite. Have you phone on blue tooth on so it connects with the Mini 2 and your good to go. I watched several videos on YouTube before purchasing so I feel I made the best choice for what I need.PS: I make trips into Death Valley, Canada and Alaska and these poor to no cell reception.
