Q: Does it have top and bottom burners

The grill has overhead burners but does not have burners at the bottom. There is a drip tray at the bottom which allows the meat juices to collect in the tray for added flavor. You can also add butter, spices, and oils to the drip tray to enhance the flavor.

Q: How many BTUs is it rated for?

The input rate is 13,000 BTU/HR.

Q: can it use a small propane canister?

Hello, Yes you can use a 1lb propane canister but you will need our 1lb propane adapter sold only on our website here - https://blazingbullgrills.com/collections/accessories/products/1lb-propane-adapter

Q: Is there a cold zone between the 2 burners?

Hello, no there is not a cold spot between the 2 burners as long as you are using the grill properly. You will sear each steak vertically under the burner for 1-2 minutes per side. If the steak is too large to fit under 1 burner, you would simply lower the grill grate so the heat distribution is wider and sear for a bit longer. We have never had a customer complain about any cold spots on the grill.
