Foster Grant Men's Braydon Multifocus Reading Glasses

I purchased these glasses to replace my single vision computer glasses. These are very well made and function perfectly. As soon as I put them on my head, I could appreciate and enjoy the multi focus lenses. You don't have to keep taking them on and off, you can just wear them all day. The quality of the frames is very good for the price. Overall, I happily give this product 5 stars.

One day I went to take my old pair of Foster Grants off my face and they just fell apart. They had been through several years of on and off, so no surprise or disappointment. I looked around fir replacements. There were a lot of other options, but I settled on this particular pair and somehow through some weird magic, this is an even better pair than the originals. Plus there is flex at the temples that might give them even better longevity.

Like so many others, I used to have reading glasses scattered all over the house and office. I'd have to stop and search for a pair at least a few times every day. (Having glasses on a string around my neck just wasn't my style). These readers are great, but not perfect. For distance viewing (especially while driving) it's best for me not to be wearing these. They do distort the view of objects that are more than 20 or 30 feet away. I went with this style because it seemed they had the tallest lens when compared to others and thus hoped to avoid other critical remarks that the vertical transition sections are too narrow. With this style, I have no issue shifting from zero at the top to 2.0 at the bottom. For me, these are perfect for home and office use - no so much when driving or walking in town.

I used to wear progressive prescription glasses. Then I had cataract surgery and now only need glasses to for close work. These are great because they have the 3 different strengths providing the ability to work on a PC and look up at someone without having to take my glasses off or wear them on the end of my nose. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend these to someone with a similar need.

Product was sold as new, but was obviously an open-box return. The really shady part was that it had an Amazon tamper-evident seal. So I couldn't tell that the glasses were used until I broke the seal. The glasses are also terrible. They have a lot of ghosting and halos around light sources. There is a lot of diffraction. I had hoped that they would be a universal solution, but they aren't good for anything.

A little expensive but they do feel like quality and like they are built better than the cheaper ones .

I have had cataract surgery and need glasses only for reading and computer. I also do a lot of photography and have had trouble with manual focus without any glasses. I have very comfortable bifocals (with the top part clear) bought for $150 from optometrist, which I use for reading, but not so good for photography because the enlargement part is just on the bottom. I thought I’d try these to have with me just for focusing my camera. The quality of the lens is good — much better than what you’d get at Walgreen’s or the like, which is what I wanted. The nose piece rubs a bit so I think that they’d be somewhat uncomfortable wearing them for reading for long periods of time, but they are perfect for my purposes, and they are small enough to fit in my pocket with the case supplied.

Very comfortable and the multifocal make them easy to keep on while doing many tasks.
