The only think that was confusing, was that there are 4 extra washers and regular nuts. I suppose they changed the design.I am a 59 yo woman with MS, so the people having problems with this instillation should be ashamed of themselves. You could get a better quality, but if you're willing to pay a lot more, go ahead and do that. For the price point, I'm very satisfied that this will support my lightweight kayak just fine.

This rack scared the mess out of me; just on a test drive around the neighborhood. Not only was it pretty hard just to assemble - the actual mounting pieces have to be fitted together and held only with a bolt and they don't fit very well... But once installed and my 10' kayak was strapped down, this thing bounced back and forth and vibrated like a guitar string. No way I'd trust this at highway speeds. Mine is going back for a refund (minus return shipping and possibly a restocking fee). Buyer beware; this looks cheap (price wise) but it's cheap quality wise as well. I'm not about to trust my thousand-dollar yak to it.

We ordered two but only received one. (simple mistake). I contacted the company, they responded immediately and was extremely helpful. They sent the second set out right away. I was super impressed with their professionalism. The product itself is easy to install. (I installed in 10 mins or less) They hold our kayaks perfectly. Overall experience with product and customer service...5 star for sure. I would highly recommend this product and this company.

The instructions are a little vague but if you can put 2 and 2 together you’ll figure it out, just make sure all nuts and bolts are tight!!

Good price I just couldn't use it for my type of car how to buy a different model

I bought two sets of these both sets are not made well. Installed by the instructions but it was extremely loose. So loose my kayaks would shift heavily and I was extremely nervous to drive with them. It’s like they did not fit the cross bars properly. The rocked heavily even though they were tightened to the max. I will be buying some other kayak racks unfortunately.

Let me tell you guys about my adventure. The very first trip I took them on the metal brackets bent on 3 of the 4 supports. They don't fit the roof rack snug like they show in the pic and are not good at all. Buy this if you want your kayak to do 60 on the freeway going the opposite direction.

Stupid flimsy, as soon as my kayak sat on them, they bent to the point they were almost straight. Completely flimsy even when screwed down extremely tightly. Save your money. These are HORRIBLE
