The Spice Way Cardamom Pods- (4 oz) Whole Green Cardamom Pod kosher by OK

My former supplier is no longer on Amazon, and after much shopping and reading of reviews I settled on this brand. I am an enormous fan of cardamom, and so of course I always worry about quality. The minute I opened the bag, I knew everything was going to be all right. The scent is profound and intoxicating. I used it first for a batch of chai tea. It was perfect. This is so aromatic that I may try to make some cardamom liqueur. I highly recommend it.

Loved these cardamom. Reminded me of making Nisu with my mom 60 years ago. So much more flavor than ground cardamom from the grocery store. I grind the cardamom in my electric coffee grinder!

These things were strong!!! I didn't need a bunch, I was using them to flavor a spiced seasonal mead. I didn't really find anything concrete about how much to add, so I just winged it. I didn't add a ton, but the flavor really came through. Not sure what other things I can do with them so I may need to do some research and try stuff out!

I like these, sometimes I crush them a bit to release more flavor in my cooking. But they seem very fresh and larger size.
