I had actually considered sending this back originally but decided to keep it. Nothing wrong but it didn't work in my iCAM program or any other (not because of camera itself I learned). I have too many apps, I need cameras that allow to goto same app. But this camera does work good, and the solar part is amazing. The price is good, and the features are good.Night Vision works great.Pros:Solar will last quite a well, even after days of no sun. Quite well actually.Easy to install - No issues and very easy to install without need of instructions.Offers a Cloud ServiceTakes an SDCARD2 Way speaker / voice talkCons:Reviewing footage can be tedious on a mobile phoneOnly seems to work in native app, doesn't work in iCAM universal app.2 Way voice will require very good wifi signal.Overall thoughts, it's worth the money for quick, easy install, and out the box going. Cloud isn't required, and they give you some free cloud to test with. Signal reception for wifi is pretty good, I can get easily 600ft from wifi. Best part overall -- No need for power, and keeps charged even with as much time i use it watching or reviewing.

I wanted to install a camera in my backyard as extra security and see the wild animals. I think this camera is worth the cost. The installation and set up was very easy. I've had the camera for approximately 2 months and haven't needed to charge the battery. . When doing this, you don't have to take the camera down and disturb its placement. Simply press the button on the bottom of the camera, and the camera body slips out of the housing allowing you to easily change the battery and slip it back into the housing. You don't disturb the camera's aim at all. Once the cameras are installed, you can play around with the activity zones in the App and set your cameras to ignore motion in certain areas and alert to motion in others. I live the fact that the app is on my phone and it will alert you to any movement and you can see prior days. I installed a 128 GB flash drive on the Smart Hub. This way, the recorded events are not only recorded to the cloud for a period of time, but also to my flash drive. I have the recording on the flash drive set to overwrite previous recordings as it reaches its capacity.

I was looking for a camera security for my new house that would be easy to maintain. I had no previous knowledge of cameras so I started looking around and learned terms like PZT (pan, zoom, tilt) when I came across this little nugget. Most cameras either require a consistent power supply or batteries that need to be recharged but this camera uses solar power to keep the inside batteries charged which is exactly what I was looking for.Very low amount of wires needed and honestly can be put almost anywhere. I have the camera pointed towards the east so it only really gets sun until about noon but its enough to keep this baby charged. I've had the camera for almost 4 months now and I dont think I've actually seen the battery drop under 100% the entire time. The stucco wall studs also worked very well and installation was a breeze.The app is fairly easy to setup and me and my wife can both look at the camera and move it around remotely which is a pretty neat feature. I mounted the camera a bit lower than recommended purposefully at about 6-7ft so when I use the microphone its a bit louder than expected. A few more feet up and the sound wouldn't be as loud. The detection is pretty good and as soon as i walk out the front door my phone gets an app notification of motion detected. It can get a tad overwhelming if you're constantly doing work in the area that its watching so you can always turn it off. But its a good reminder that its working.Overall if you aren't looking to spend a ton of money on a security camera this is the one to choose. Just a little bit of direct sunlight a day will keep this baby charged for days.

I bought 3. I wanted a simple solution to provide security camera coverage at my shed, down the driveway and the front porch of the house. One fell over during last winter storms and died (I didn't secure the pole deep enough in the ground). The other camera the IR camera quit working, I think because it is in direct sunlight and pointed at the sun when the sun sets on the horizon. The last works great!! It is mounted under the eaves of thee roof but still recharges with indirect sunlight. All 3 are quality made and survived the winter rains. The switch cover does not fit snug over the switch or is too small for my fat fingers to put on or off (my reason for 4 stars) .The app works great and is inexpensive to save videos to the cloud. I am buying 4 more to replace the 2 bad cameras and put 2 more in the rear of the property. Thank you for this quality solar powered WiFi security camera!

This camera is a bargain. I purposely waited about 3 months before writing the review so I could get a real sense of the camera's abilities. The quality of the video is fantastic. It's bright and sharp with super colors. The installation was simple and straightforward. It took me a few attempts to get it aligned properly so it wasn't picking up movements from outside the desired area but that is to be expected. And it even survived two hurricanes without losing a beat!!

I have purchased multiple of these cameras within 6 months. The lights stop working, or the solar panel goes out. I have a brand new one I just took out of the box only to find it has something wrong with the solar panel, and it's not working.If you want an outside camera to monitor your property, this is not it!I will be looking for a new camera from someone else.

Very reliable. Easy to set up. Easy to use features. Pan and zoom works very well. Well worth the money. I have two.

Pretty easy to set up @ video is pretty clear, only issue is early morning dew clouds up the camera & you can’t see anything. 2nd picture is early morning view, not so good
