Biggest thing is follow directions!!!! Since I started using this product I have not had any mice or chipmunks get into my trailer. We have a campsite in a heavily wooded, infrequently used area. I could have everything cleaned only to come back less than a week later to nests, hoards of acorns and droppings all over the place. any dry goods are always stored in hard plastic airtight containers and are never touched. For a 26ft tt I use 6 bags at a time. one in bath cabinet, one in water heater cabinet, one in silverware area, one under the couch and 2 near the master bed. replace all once a month. 3 years now with no invasion.

This item smells really well. However, the mice have been drawn to the packets instead of repelling them. In various open areas where they were placed, they shredded it and created messes. Recommending to use some other material in packets.

Can't say enough great things about this product! We have had such a mouse problem in our camper through the winter months. Used this and the inside of the camper looks the same as it did when we closed it up. Can'tfind a single mouse dropping. You have no idea how happy this makes me. Will definitely be buying again...and again.

I really wanted this product to work, big time. And your mileage may vary, but here's what I found. We have a small 21' Chinook Concourse RV that is a two-person rig. When parked in our rural yard during the summer (between trips), white-footed mice would get into the camper even though I have spent many hours trying to find out how they do it. I use snap traps, but I need a deterrent because as you all know, mice are continuously excreting waste products as they move (that's why falcons have vision capabilities that let them see the urine of their rodent prey) and who wants mouse pee and droppings everywhere? Not my wife, or me, for that matter. So I really needed a deterrent.I ordered the Mouse Magic 12-pack and when it came, I put four of the large teabags out in the camper. The peppermint smell was wicked strong! Satisfied that I had defeated my enemy, but being eternally curious, I put out 8 Victor mouse traps with peanut butter, just to see. Three days later, three dead mice in traps. The traps in the small spaces with teabags - no mice. The traps in the open areas - mice.So, my conclusion is that these are good for very compact spaces... bureaus, cabinets, inside of any small spaces / devices / boxes that the little monsters can access. Don't think that you can put a couple out into your living room and you won't have mice. And one more thing - I would say that these are overpriced and overpackaged.EDIT! Dec. 5,2011, for my RV friends: I found out that the mice were climbing the external power cord and entering through the utility hatch!

We love these for our camper. No sign of mice for years. The smell is subtle and fades away in spring quickly. Does not affect my daughter who is sensitive to fragrance. You must try!!

We use a few of these with about 15 traps and have gone from 22 mice and two moles in six days down to one mouse in six days.
