Received these beautiful lights as promised, however after putting them up 5 strands did not light up. It is advertised that you can connect three strands together but the third strand was not as bright as the first. I recommend only connecting two together. The clear wire and cool white bulbs really make then look like icicles. I hope they honor their warranty and replace my faulty strand.

There is a plug-in at one end and a female connector at the other. When you plug one set in and get to the other end, and try to connect the next set, you have TWO FEMALE CONNECTORS. What am I missing? I updated my review to 4 stars because I figured it out. We love the lights. I cannot give 5 stars because nowhere in the instructions does the manufacturer say that the plug is removable , and that is where you find the male connector! We have two sets connected and they worked well last night. I will update my review as to longevity of these at a future date.

Pros: -very lightweight-it's actually warm-white like it says-Wire is very malleable and easy to work with so when they hang down they don't want to retract into whatever form they had been stored in.-plenty of light pattern choices (something for everyone)-plenty of extension wire between the power block and first icicle.-easy to interconnect multiple strings together.Cons:-There is no obvious way to unravel the wire when unpacking and everything ends up a tangled mess.-the power block is not waterproof or even water resistant.-some of the light modes don't use all the LEDs so I thought they were bad.-the icicles are a tad long-pricier than other similar optionsI hope these lights last more than a season. I liked them enough to buy two more for the whole front of the house.

Amazing! They came on time. Packaged will and ready to install. They were more then expected. Better then we could have got from buying at your local hardware stores. The ends have a detachable outlet plug and the other end had a cap. So to connect you remove those two and connect the next lights. Also the ends screw on so no more tying the ends together to plug in. We also bought tree lights that are the same concept. So they can connect together as well.

This icicle string of lights is fantastic. They are bright, but not overbearing and a nice warm light. They went on at 6pm, it is now 6am and they are still on. They transformed a dark, shaded pathway on the side of our house into a wonderland.

I couldn't be happier with these lights. Here are a few notes:- The "warm" lights look nearly identical to incandescent. It's really unbelievable how good the LED technology has gotten. We held off so long because we didn't want the overall blue look. We wanted something warmer, and this is it.- I bought three strands and they hook together seamlessly. They actually have a special way of plugging together that makes it look better than a bulky plug (except for the extra cord, which you have to bundle).- The length is exactly as advertised, about 30 feet long. I measured that I needed 90 linear feet and three strands worked perfectly.

Put the lights up in early December using two strands. Good distribution of LEDs and the lights timer worked light the description ... left on until the 31st. As I was taking them down, I noticed signs of heat in some of the lamps (see picture) ... they were still working great so I'm still going with 5 stars ... but just sharing what I noticed.

These lights are nice and bright and look great. Allow about 30min to untangle the wires out of the box. Oye. I'm not sure they'll survive a Canadian prairie winter though as the wires are razor thin.

About 65 tiny, plastic zip ties per strand need to be cut in order to detach the lights from the wire used to hang them.The zip ties are on very tight, so it is extremely time consuming, and very difficult to do without cutting the electrical cord. I managed, but it was . It took at least 30 minutes per strand just to remove the packaging/zip ties1 of the 2 strands I bought had a manufacturing defect, where at the end, a bunch of extra strands were coming off the strand, and interwoven in a ball. Had to wrap them in a garbage bag and hide in the gutterAt the end they look decent, but would not recommend for all the hassle

So disappointed by these! I hung them up less than a month ago and they're already shorting out/burning and filling with water! Save your money.

The product works well, it has a bunch of settings, easy to install, but a couple of the light stringers came apart a couple of days after installation.

Have had these up for a few months.... used zip ties and they are great... I have them on a dusk dawn timer and they never miss a beat... cycle through the various modes ....one of the best purchases for lighting around my pergola
