I'm enjoying this Buffalo seasoning. It has a nice mixture of flavors. While the garlic and onion come through the strongest, there is more depth or "tang" to the flavor than found in a basic garlic/onion/pepper mixture. The heat level is nice. I'd rate it as being on the high end of a medium heat -- more than enough to make an impact, but not so much that it's painful.This is ideal as a rub for chicken prior to BBQ or oven (or air fryer) roasting. It works well in other dishes, especially potatoes. I did a simple oven roasted potato dish that entailed tossing the cut potatoes with a little olive oil and a nice size portion of the Buffalo spice, and it went over very well even among those who don't care all that much for spicy dishes.It comes very well packaged to the point where it's suitable for gift-giving. It is a bit wasteful in terms of packaging (although everything was cardboard or paper and recyclable) but it did provide excellent protection in transit.The only con is that it is on the salty side, but that's par for the course for nearly all blended spices. You'll want to cut back, or even eliminate, adding salt to the dish if this is used. Even with the salt issue, it's a 5-star performer.

Really, about the most positive thing I can say about this buffalo seasoning is it avoids the need to apply "too much" garlic in addition to, salt, paprika and cayenne to your wings as they're combined for you in this jar. Sampled directly from the container the spice blend has a modest kick however once rubbed on the meat, fried in oil and covered with your preferred hot sauce, it doesn't stand out any more than typical pre-mixed buffalo style seasoning mixes and is for me undistinguishable from whatever flavorings are represented from the final dousing in the hot sauce of the day.

This review is for the Classic Buffalo seasoning: I am pleasantly surprised at how good this seasoning is. It has a depth of flavor that is a surprise. It has a pretty long list of ingredients, garlic, sea salt, organic onion, organic cayenne, organic smoked paprika, ground mustard, etc. NO added sugar. I love spicy seasonings, and I like things hot. I would place this seasoning on the hotter end of buffalo seasoning/sauces I have had before, which for me is fantastic. Where I think this seasoning stands out though is that the flavor has some depth. I keep tasting it trying to discern where that depth is coming from, and I ‘think’ it is the smoked paprika. Others use regular paprika, and I think the *smoked* paprika gives it a little something extra that makes it memorable. Overall the seasoning isn’t ‘smoky’, but there is just enough of that smoked paprika to really bring the rest of the spices together in a way that is really, really good. I could really see this used on SO many different foods - chicken, of course, but also popcorn, steamed veggies, on a salad, roasted potatoes or other root veggies (hmm... I just got an idea for dinner tonight!). If you like spicy seasoning (and by spicy, I mean very flavorful, bot necessarily hot), *AND* you also like some heat, then this could become a go-to seasoning. Very impressed and pleased! This Noble Made by The New Primal Classic Buffalo Seasoning Spice & Dry Rub is right up my alley. I think I appreciate this stuff better than most, since we have made a commitment to only have organic food in our household - including spices and condiments - and I had yet to come across a buffalo seasoning rub that was organic until now. Yippee! This tastes really fresh and has a nice medium heat to it (we love spicy stuff, so "medium" to me might be more intense for others, though).The bottles are made from glass, and they are packaged very carefully in a box that is suitable for gift-giving. This is the perfect flavor and blend for a standard "buffalo" seasoning, IMO, and we've been using it on ton of stuff, including fries and more. This honestly is not a bad price for a 4-pack of organic seasonings, IMO. Great quality, and I will be buying more when we run out. It gets two thumbs up from this household - YUM!

I tried this on chicken and I found it to provide too much heat with not enough flavor. When I opened the bottle, I could smell the various spices and was hopefully that my chicken would taste really good after cooking. I rubbed the seasoning under the skin and in all the cavities and roasted the chicken. When it was done, I am sad to say, none of the flavors could be tasted in the chicken. It was very bland. What we could taste was the pepper that was in the spice and that is all.I could have achieved the spiciness with common peppers. I wanted something more but did not get it with this seaosning.
