Large, sturdy press. I have an OXO press, but it wasn't self-cleaning and I had to get a skewer out to clean it. Since I use my garlic press 2-3 times a week I was really sick of doing this, and wanted a self-cleaning press. I read a *lot* of reviews of various presses and finally settled on this one. Used it over the weekend and was *very* impressed. First of all, you can stick 2 very large or 3 average size cloves in the hopper...it's quite large. Secondly, the handles were covered and didn't slip in your hands when you did the pressing. Clean-up? Took about 2 seconds, because the self-cleaning aspect worked wonderfully! Great press and I'm very happy with it!

Disappointed. Not large or jumbo. Very shallow so it only holds one clove of garlic at a time. I use a lot of garlic so this is not a time saver for me. Also, the tines on the cleaner are too short so it does not push the garlic skin out of the holes meaning I still have to dig it out. Again, not a time saver. Seems heavy duty, just doesn't hold enough garlic to warrant heavy duty.

Very sturdy, and easy to use!

Having a garlic press makes cooking a whole lot easier. It saves the hassle of trying to chop the cloves into little tiny squares less risk having big chunks of garlic in your food.My expectation in a garlic press is that it should be very solid build, with big enough holes to pass the crushed garlic through but not so big that a bit of food is overwhelmed with garlic.This garlic press did just that. Superior Chef Stainless Steel Large Garlic Press is professional quality . I feel like a real Chef when using this in my kitchen .It's heavy duty ,large and fits nicely in my hand . It opens and closes with ease ,grating my garlic fine and perfect. This one will last and not like cheap one's you find in the store. It's the best one I've seen on the market . This would make an excellent gift, especially for a wedding or for the cook in the family would love this. You can also use it for ginger . I highly recommend this Garlic Press . We really enjoyed this Garlic press when cooking. Where I would normally try to mince my garlic, but get tired or annoyed and just stop at "chopped"; we were able to just plop a few cloves is the press and tada! I was able to fit 3 cloves of garlic in the press at one time! This shortened my cutting/chopping/mincing time to a fraction of the time. My boyfriend loved it as well, nothing makes a kitchen gadget better than getting your man to join you in the kitchen.I received this product for free or at a highly discounted price in exchange for my honest & unbiased review. Myself and everyone in my family loves this garlic press! It's heavy duty, easy to handle and cuts down a great amount of prepping time. Instead of having to dice up the garlic little by little I can just press it down on the garlic press in seconds to make things go by quicker.
