I do miniature origami and often put the pieces in small, clear glass bottles of this size. These colored ones had some different style and shape and easily hold two origami cranes folded from 1.6 cm paper. The only ones I couldn't use were the black ones as they were too opaque - the others are translucent and the cranes can be seen inside. One of my kids is using the two black bottles for some sort of Dungeons & Dragons craftwork, so no bottles went to waste.

These are real colored glass and cork, and are really pretty. The corks are removeable. Each bottle can hold about 1/2 tsp sugar. Keep in mind that the cork can fall out, so be cautious especially with liquids. They are just like regular size glass bottles, which makes me wonder if tiny craftsmen or skilled mice made them. I will definitely pack these for when I move to Mars, so that I can barter small portions of sugar with the Martians. Other uses could be dollhouses, jewelry, and I'm guessing other decorative crafts. They arrived intact, with quick delivery. I would order more from this company.

The glass is very soft and so they break easily. I put tiny magnets in mine and just the pressure of the magnets groke the jars.

These vials are the cutest EVER so was greatly disappointed when they didn't fit inside the reliquary necklace I made. The advertised dimensions are smaller than the vials actually measure. The description has them at 1.2 cm, which would have JUST fit my necklace. They are actually 1.3 cm! They didn't fit. SO, plan accordingly. Otherwise they are fantastic.

So I was getting these for an alchemist costume for the ren faire and I thought they were going to be, like, hand-holding size - they're so teeny! Checking the listing, it's entirely my fault for not clicking through the pictures or reading the description, so I'm certainly not going to penalize for my carelessness.All the same though, these are so cute and perfect! I'm going to fill them up with hand sanitizer and pass them out as 'hand cleansing tonic' for people who want them. Adorable!

These are super cute but also really tiny. If you want to put stuff in them make sure it's extremely tiny.

Updated on newest order: I order another set of these bottles to replace the defective ones and most of them were broken into many piece when the bag was opened. Not thinking, I threw out the glass rather than keeping it all to return. I contacted Amazon and explained the issue of not being able to return the item. I was told that I didn't have to worry about the return and that I wouldn't need to send back the bottles from my original return request and that I also wouldn't be charged. A few weeks later I received an email stating I had been charged for me 2nd order as they did not receive the returned items. I was charged for the handful of broken glass that I received, even though I was ensured I wouldn't be. I can no longer recommend these at all! Also...I recommend printing the Amazon customer service chat history before closing out for proof of conversation.Original review:I ordered these to place my brother's ashes in to give to a few of his closest friends. While I really enjoyed the different color options, I was very disappointed to find that a few of the bottles had small holes in them. Depending on what you are using these for, that may not be an issue for some, but when you are dealing with a loved one's ashes, it's very heart wrenching to find ashes falling out and not know exactly where they are coming from. The whole was in a corner that was not very visible to the naked eye. I suppose this is a hard lesson that had to be learned. But just make sure you look over each bottle very carefully, before putting anything inside that may leak out. Aside from that....I absolutely loved these bottles. They came in beautiful colors and the corks fit perfectly. No ashes were lost from the bottles that were not defective. All in all, I'd buy again. Next time I'd just inspect each bottle individually, before placing something so important in them.
