It may be the catnip in the product which is in a sealed (NOT refillable) thin gauze pouch stuffed inside the slit on the back of these chew toys... but these silicone cactus toys are wholly overlooked by my two VERY DIFFERENT cats. I cannot give a poor rating however.... it may not be the case for YOUR feline family! I do think they are a bit 'too flat', and maybe a bit heavy in that there's not a lot for them to grab (and they have claws)... And they have had them around for a week... AND they look like they will exist even after Armageddon! LOL very durable material!So, though there are a zillion 4-5 stars and happy cat-users, I am just sorry I spent the money on them.

Here’s the thing, I have a cat that chews everything. He chews cords, crocs, bogg bags, cables, anything rubbery. He has destroyed so many phone chargers and computer chargers that I’ve lost count. I needed something, anything, to distract him from his normal victims and I found this cactus. THANK GOODNESS FOR THIS CACTUS! He chews on it and eventually chews pieces off but I would much rather pick up the pieces from the floor than to have to order a new WiFi cord again. They have lasted a couple months too! I plan to order more soon! Only thing that would make them better is if they were cheaper due to how many I am going to have to continue to order for years to come!!

My cat LOVES this but he is an extreme chewer. It took him about 5 minutes to chew a chunk off. He’s already had surgery for eating something he chewed so in order to avoid a repeat of that I have to watch him very closely when using this toy. So I wish it was more durable.

I got this for my youngest cat who loves to chew on anything with a rubber or silicone texture. She went crazy for this toy and absolutely loved it! But it only lasted about six or seven days before being chewed to the point that it became a hazard. It would have been great if it were more durable. Due to the fact that it did not last long at all, it isn't really all that great of a value.

My cat likes to bite a soft silicone brush, so I’ve been searching for good chew toys for him. The silicone of this toy has a good medium-hard texture that lets him sink his teeth in. It’s softer than a dog toy, so I wouldn’t recommend it for dogs or cats that chew as often as a dog. But it’s firm enough to stand up to my cat’s playful biting.The scent was very effective when the toy was first opened and he loved rubbing his face on it, but now he only shows occasional interest. You can easily replace the inner bag with catnip or other treats.The shape doesn’t seem especially appealing. I wonder if something spikier would be more attractive to cats.Unfortunately, my cat still likes to chew on his brush, but this chew toy at least provides an occasional distraction.

I ordered this for my kitten who is teething and I thought the catnip would entice her to use it. I opened the package and it was covered in dust and the catnip packet was extremely frayed and low quality, fearing my kitten would eat some of the fraying pieces of fabric. I trimmed the edges and I gave it to her and watched to make sure she didn’t eat the bag. Shockingly she was not interested in it one bit. I let her sniff the bag of “catnip” and she walked away. So I gave her some catnip we already had to make sure she was still interested in catnip and she was all over it, proving whatever dusty stuff that is in the little bag definitely is not catnip. As for the actual cactus itself: it is cute, but very low quality and I could tell if she even was interested in it it would come apart in little ingestible chunks quickly.

Love this product. I have a 4.5mo old kitten who is teething like crazy and wants to use my hand or arm as his chew toy. He just lost his bottom baby fangs and I could see the adult top ones wanting to poke through, it'll be any day he loses the top baby teeth. He was drooly and teething like an infant. I ordered this, it was delivered quick. He has not stopped chewing it since I gave it to him. He seems so relieved and is knawing away on it. My hands are so thankful hahaha highly recommend!

I bought this toy because my 1 year old cat loves to chew on things, especially plastic. When I received this product she immediately loved it and began chewing on it. By the second day 3 large chunks were chewed completely off and the rest of the toy was split in half. I do not recommend this product at all if your cat actually enjoys chewing as it will not last more than a day. It is a complete waste of money and has zero durability.

No sé si ayude a limpiar los dientes, pero tan siquiera a mi gato le encantó. Lo muerde y lo abraza. Ya lleva varios días con él y aún no lo ha roto. Pero si tu gato es destructor, sí dudo que le dure mucho.

El olor de la almohadilla no le agradó. Lavé el juguete pero aún se le quedó un poco del olor. Pienso que le gustará más cuando el olor a manzanilla se disipe y lo amarre a un elástico.

De materiales resistentes y bien tamaño. Al inicio llamo mucho la atención de mi gata, después lo empezó a ignorar.

No me parece bueno mis gatos solo le hicieron caso 10 minutos y no vale la pena pagar tanto dinero para algo que no sirve
