Purchased this puzzle for my daughter for Christmas. She is 22 and absolutely loves it. A month later it's still only partially worked so if you avoid buying puzzles because of the price vs time to finish this one is for you. It drives your eyes crazy but that's the point of pictures like this.

I thought this would be a nice, fun puzzle. Boy was I wrong and right.The black and white stripes make for a very difficult puzzle to start with, but you end up with 2-5 pieces that look extremely similar to each other, so even though you found one, or three, that look like they should fit, they don't.The pieces are cut with very nice precision. There's absolutely no airgap between the pieces. They can literally fall into place without any kind of force and still fit snugly.I can normally finish a 750 puzzle in 6-8 hours and working in sorted color piles. There's no chance for sorting into colors here. I had to lay every single piece out on a 3ft x 8ft table and sort by size and direction of stripes, and that wasn't good enough. I've been resorting and assembling this puzzle for 3 months now, working 1-3 hours at a time, sometimes 3-4 or more days a week.I have one corner left for a couple hundred pieces left and it's finally starting to go together like a normal puzzle does for me, where I can get 1-3 pieces every 1-2 minutes. I felt good about getting 30 pieces assembled in 90 minutes last week.It's been frustrating, but it's also rewarding to finally be getting it nearly done.

I told my best friend that I wasn't a huge fan of puzzles and she thought it was because I was bad at them. Well, she gifted me a puzzle for Christmas and I told her I'd get her back for her birthday. I looked for the most difficult puzzle I could find and well, I got it. She's been working on it for about a month now and she is so annoyed with it. I'm very happy with it. It was just as hard as I had hoped it would be. If you want a challenge, this puzzle will definitely do the trick. Good Luck!

This puzzle is great quality! It was a real challenge but as someone who frames the puzzles it'll be a great addition. Upon completing it though, I found I had an EXTRA piece which was a new thing for me. I hope this doesn't indicate that someone got a puzzle missing that piece.

If you are tired of the normal 1000 piece puzzles with predictable patterns that you have been working on during the pandemic, why not try one that you cannot stare at for long. I found the pattern on this puzzle intriguing and was not surprised to find that it was more difficult to assemble than I thought. Normally these patterns are easy to follow, but I found working with this one was both difficult and fun. A challenge for those of us that wear bifocals. The effect seems to blur at times on my peripheral vision making it fun to work with. I was not disappointed and do not think you will be either.

I have been a "puzzler" for 20 years now, and am thrilled I am able to accomplish each and everyone I start. Some take longer then others, but I am consistent. This puzzle was as difficult as I thought it might be, somewhat because of the nostalgic pattern, which does play tricks on your eyes! It is nice to know that there is an easy escape for those who let frustration get in your way. But if you succeed in not using the "easy" way, your feeling of accomplishment will be far greater. I buy puzzles for my wife to challenge her. She is really good at them. She works on them after work at leisure it helps relax her. I try to find hard one’s as she is a good puzzler. She said this is cut very well and they fit very well together. She seems to enjoy and said it was a good puzzle!
