Works good...not great. If I have a mosquito bite and i cant help but itch like crazy then I can really see it working. It immediately gives you relief on your irritated skin. However if you have a new bite and you are starting to have an urge to scratch then this is where it's okay. I have to fight the urge to scratch a little less but it's still there and it drives me crazy! So basically you have to scratch your skin and irritate the bite to get the product to work its magic. I would like this product to give me relief straight away so I can avoid scratching all together and have the bite dissapeared faster. I'm definitely still using it and will finish it, but I will try other products first before purchasing again.

It’s summer time and the mosquitos are out for (my) blood. I used to use a very strong Gold Bond lidocaine for my bug bites or tons of hydrocortisone, but decided to try something natural. This balm is easy to apply and travel with; and no cotton swabs needed to apply like those other options. I do notice that it doesn’t last as long as non-natural remedies, but re-applying is not so tedious with this balm! The smell is pleasant (at least to me) & I would purchase again if I go through this tin any time soon! I have even recommended this product to my family. This would be a 5 star product if I didn’t need to reapply as often as I do. Overall, great plant-based product.

I struggled to open the container so I contacted the company thru their website.The key to opening the tin is to PLACE IT ON A HARD SURFACE. When you press down at the designated spot it pops the seal and rocks the lid back.This was their response:"If there are grooves on the tin top and a part that says "Press to Open" I would place my thumb on those words and press. That should cause the top to essentially pop off - especially the opposite side.If you have the older version of our tin it is very common that it has difficulty being removed. That is the primary reason we switched mechanisms."So it looks like they will be coming out with new and improved packaging soon. : )I haven't had the opportunity to use it on a bite yet. But it has a very pleasant smell and nice texture.

Wow! Super impressed with this all natural balm. We were looking for something new as opposed to using Benadryl lotion or calamine and I’m so glad we took the chance with this balm! So much power in a tiny tin! We had gotten eaten up one night sitting by the bonfire and put this on, itch gone IMMEDIATELY!

Oh my how the gnats and mosquitoes love my skin in this Southern Virginia humidity! Even the best citronella and repellents cannot keep all those little rascals away. After several bites I can apply this wonderful salve and the itch is completely gone!There's no alcohol or chemical smell.

I used this on a number of occasions and the bugs wont come near me ~ it heals the itch immediately and I love the smell and feel on my skin , would recommend !~
