BUTLER CREEK30035 Objective cover

Bought this to put on my Surefire rifle light to protect lens and keep light from leaking out if flashlight is accidentally activated. For my purposes, it performs excellent.I don't like the pricing difference for various sizes. I bought bigger than needed because it was $7 less. Just wrapped light with electric tape. Fits nice and snug. Isn't going anywhere.Update: I should have figured but this didn't hold up long. Lasted about 50 rounds before the slightest vibration opened the cap up. This isn't a manufacturer problem though. I wasn't using as intended.The seller needs to get their pictures straightened out also. I want to try the model with the lever to see if that holds up better but the pictures show both types of cap. Very annoying. Fix your pictures so I can order with confidence that I'll be get to get to what I want.

Decent quality excellent scope protection

The stated size is 34mm, it wouldn't fit on my 34mm scope measured the cap it only 33mm.

I usually try to be positive for reviews. I am brutally honest, though... These.... kind of suck for the price. I bought these in 1.3" for a Vortex VMX-3T magnifier, and they are tight as hell. Not a big problem. However, the actual cover piece is kind of flimsy. It doesn't have a firm snapping action that you woukd expect and the cover will wobble. These would be great for $5 a piece.

This cover was bought to fit over a scope whose dust cover just would not stay shut. Perfect fit and closes tightly shut. Very pleased.
