Apple Silicone Case with MagSafe (for iPhone 12 | 12 Pro) - (PRODUCT) RED

I really debated before buying this case as I thought it was ridiculously overpriced. However, I decided to give it a go and I'm glad I did. I always cut corners with cases and buy non-apple brands and end up regretting it. This case has a ring on the inside that your phone registers once you put it on (It appears to be a magnetic ring to keep the magsafe charger in place). When I'm charging it via magsafe it stays put perfectly, no slipping and sliding like I've had with knockoff cases that I thought would be find because they were thin. It's durable, looks great, feels great and best of all is functional. A part of me wanted to hate this case just because of the price, but I have to admit it's fantastic. It doesn't inhibit my phone signal either. I use my phone as a hotspot most days and I'd always have to take my case off, thankfully I don't have to do that now, the signal is exactly the same with the case on. Hope this helps.

I thought I'd give a go the apple cases when I got the 12. It has been great until now. I am experience it falling apart, there rubber is falling off as I pick it up on normal use. Such a shame because I have enjoyed this case until now, it felt comfortable and had MagSafe as expected. What makes it worse is that Apple charge £49 for this case and it lasted a year

Case feels smooth and a nice material. Initially I loved this case, but after around 4 months of use the rubber started to peel and flake off. For the price I don’t think it is up to scratch quality wise. Looks good and a nice choice of covers.

Being Apple’s own case design I expected good quality at a premium price. The case has held up very well, and the silicone hasn’t scratched or damaged in over a month’s use. The product(red) case matches extremely well with the (red) iphone 12 and the magsafe allows for easy swivelling when accompanied by a magsafe stand, holds the phones’ weight and has what seems to be very good drop protection. Unfortunately the Apple tax does carry over and this case being £40-50 is a bit ridiculous

So my original review was very positive (see below) however I have now had and used this case for 5 months and I’m disappointed that it is coming apart. I’m careful with my phone, it’s very rarely just put in a bag, it’s usually in a pocket or side pocket where it won’t get bashed about so to see this happen to a case which was this price is really annoying! I expected much more durability from an Apple product. Fits perfectly on my iPhone 12. Really lovely colour (I got plum) and the silicon has a really nice feel. The case I had before was so tough but this one makes the buttons on the sides so easy to press. It’s a bit pricey but if you’re spending that much on the phone it’s best to keep it as protected as possible. Overall really happy with it.

I usually buy Spigen cases but due to MagSafe compatibility I went for an official Apple case. The silicone texture feels oddly fantastic. It’s hard to explain why but it’s quite satisfying to hold. Fits well and seems good quality although if you were to suggest these are over priced I would not disagree.

I have bought lots of cases in the past that aren’t from Apple and always come back to these after a while as they are the best on the market. Nice colour, look and feel and MagSafe charges perfectly. Highly recommend
