Although we have a king size bed, it became necessary to use twin top sheets when he was recovering from surgery but, I still use the king size bottom sheet. So, I have continued that and use the coverlets on top to look nice and also for extra warmth on a chilly night. As I have gotten older, it is more logical that I can handle the size of the bedding as compared to having a fashionable bed. These coverlets are lovely, easy in weight and size for me to handle, and long enough to cover the entire length of us as well as the bed. My husband is 6' 3", so feet would be sticking out with just a regular size cover. I chose the 'brown' as it fit well with the colors of nature in our bedroom and is soothing to the eye as well. Thoroughly satisfied on all count.
