Annoying set up but great after that
The printer is fine and works fine but the setup is awful. It was extremely slow to set up, the google links i was told to go to were inaccessible as they were flagged as “unsafe”. It took about 40 minutes to get the printer to finally connect to my wifi. After all that’s done, setting up HP instant ink is even worse. The website is yet again, “unsafe” so i can’t go on it. It tells me to enter a claim code on the printed piece of paper but there is no claim code on it. Tried to contact support but for that i need the serial number , which is nowhere to be found. Overall, this printer has annoyed me but i think when you’ve finally dealt with all the annoyingness and awful Hp services, it’s okay. Very expensive but it works like it’s supposed to.

You'd be hard pushed to find a better printer for the same money.
I received my printer today. Have to say I was very impressed with the time frame that the unit arrived! And how well it was packaged. No flaws when I opened the box, no damages at all.Unlike other buyers who have tried to set up the printer at first, I had no problems whatsoever, in fact if you were to just follow the instructions as guided you will find it very easy to set up once you download the app, it actually does most of it for you so you'd have to very none techy to mess it up.Once the printer is set up you'll find that the print quality is 10/10 as is the speed. Very crisp lines.......One other feature of the printer which was paramount for me as I have a large flat is the WIFI compatibility, very easy to set up.........In conclusion, the printer is everything you'd expect from a HP product, build quality, pleasing to the eye, ease of use and stability which you'd expect from HP.Well worth the money in my opinion, worth every penny.

Good enough if bought at the right price
Purchased this as an urgent replacement as needed for work/school. Firstly I am aware that there are supply issues and a high demand as people are working from home so it’s almost impossible to buy a mid priced printer £60-£100 anywhere, so as a panic buy I pushed the button without proper investigation. Before the printer arrived I was disappointed that had I looked harder I would have seen that this printer sells for £50 on the high street and I paid almost double. Admittedly it’s sold out everywhere at that price like everything else. My review may therefore be a little harsh as my expectations were for a £95 printer whereas this model is not that. The printer itself is okay although it looks a bit cheap and doesn’t feel very robust due to a thin scanner door. The Wi-fi was easy to set up and easy enough to connect other devices. The print quality is good for documents but the photo quality is not that great. It is very slow printing anything unless you print as draft. A four page letter on standard setting took a few minutes which felt even longer. Double sided printing is only manual so you have to re-insert the paper but it gives you no time to do so. On the whole it’s fine as a cheap £30-£50 printer but pay anything more than that and you will be hugely disappointed.

If only I had had this years ago.
Needed a new printer for years but not too tech savvy. To be honest it took me a little over 2 hours to set up using my samsung A10 and little knowledge. Once I manage to navigate as far as registering it on my home wifi, it got a great deal simpler and printing within 10mins.That aside it's the best printer I have bought and there have been quite few including Epson. Think I will stick to this brand on future as the i'nstink' could be life changing for me.I will happily help anyone through the initial set up process so let me know.

Best Starter Printer Ever
Well. I normally use a hard format printer, but due to a house move I decided to purchase this small printer as a backup until I get sorted with a studio. Reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant, but because it was the cheapest printer I could find, (it was used - but very good!!) I decided to go for it.So very glad I did. What was the trouble setting it up? The easiest printer I have ever had - just downloaded the app as mentioned in the instructions, and I was printing within ten minutes - no problems whatsover!!!I think that I read that the cartridges for this were now null and void, but I have already purchased a set, and online there are loads of companies selling cartidges. Admittedly I couldn't find compatible, but.......Very very good starter or second printer. Would recommend it. Definitely

A Decent Little Printer
As this is a wireless printer, it does not come with a printing cable. You will have to buy that separately. The printer was easy to set up with my phone (iPhone SE with most recent iOS updates) but was very difficult to set up with my PC; I think this was partially due to the fact that I am currently running a Windows 8.1 64-Bit OS. For the first two weeks I was not able to print from my PC and had to resort to using either my phone or printing through HP's eprint service. After several attempts of installing, reinstalling and running HP's Scan Doctor, I was finally able to print from my PC. So, if you're purchasing the printer, ensure you're running the minimum system requirements for a smoother process. The free trial for instant ink has been very useful so far. I recommend signing up as soon as you get the printer. The ink was sent to my door within 10 working days. The print quality and speed is ok at 600dpi. Any higher resolution and it lags, but you'll get your print...eventually. All in all, as a budget printer, it has made a nice little addition to my home office and I'm pretty content with my purchase.

Reliable and convenient
I have used this printer for six months now and I can definitely say that I am happy with it. Easy to setup (you will need to download the app), easy to print out and manage your HP account through an app which shows your printing cycle/billing info etc. You can subscribe to HP ink deliveries - they offer several plans to fit everyone’s printing needs. And I think they’re very affordable and the cartridges get delivered to your doorstep automatically just as you are about to run out of ink! If you are not sure - try one of the plans for free for THREE months using a code xysnpn ; you might want to add FREEINK code as well for an additional trial month.
