Gutermann Sew-All Thread 1,094yd, Nu White

I've seen a lot...and I mean A LOT...this is a a very good. Strong...doesn't fray.

It is pricy BUT it has 1094 yards, so if you sew a lot it makes sense to get it. I love that the thread is well made and thus lasts longer.

This is the best thread you can buy! It is perfect for everyday sewing but especially good when piecing a quilt. It is strong and does not break easily when machine piecing.

This thread is such good quality, and the size is just right. I am making 2 quilts and the ones I give as gifts I like to use Gutermann thread. It has little fuzz so as to not choke my machine.

Super duper thread. Highly recommend. Black and White of the Sew-all Thread. *NOTE the White is ALL WHITE- I don't know why the picture has some multi-colors in it. Update 4/3/2016 After using this thread for 5 months I thought I would post a follow up. I have been using this tread in several of my domestic machines. I use a Babylock BLR2, Viking Mega Quilter, Brother PQ1500 and Memory Craft 4500. This thread worked GREAT in all my machines. (I keep all my machines clean and well oiled) I mostly quilt and piece. (depending on what stage I'm at..I use all my machines) I have been using Aurifil 40 weight for my piecing and can honestly say it still creates lint and fluff in my machines. I am cleaning often when I use all cotton..(which is known because its cotton). Aurifil is a good thread...but the $$ it costs I wonder if its worth it. With this thread...I can sew and sew and sew and have very LITTLE lint...its kinda a joy to use. Its strong and thin, pieces beautifully and looks great. More color choices would be nice in this size..but black and white cover mostly what you need. I just finished a denim quilt with the black thread, and this thread was just great. The black blended beautifully with the dark denims, and strong to hold together denim squares and the white to quilt down the charm squares and batting to the denim. Some quilters are from the old school....cotton, cotton, cotton..and NEVER use anything else. I think they are missing out on some great new threads, or had some bad experiences with cheap or poorly made polyesters. Give this a try...its a great go to thread to keep in your kits!

I like this thread for piecing quilt blocks, BUT this particular spool is really frustrating when it is quite full. The thread tends to fall of the spool if you don't cover it with a little netting sleeve. It doesn't matter if you use it horizontal or vertical, it still keeps falling off the spool. No other color of theirs does this...

The thread quality is very good and strong. It doesn’t break easily as compared to the cheaper one.

I like gutermann thread, however this one disappoints me; it keeps breaking while sewing with my machine.

Always use Gutermann thread. Best for my machine.

Bought this item on the recommendation from a sewing shop. Previously i had used another type that was cheaper and it kept snapping.... cheap is what cheap is.... This product however was brilliant not one snap and completed the job stronger and better than the previous one. Arrived quickly, would recommend it to anyone and would definitely buy it again.
