Nasty Artificial Taste
It has to be worst sports drink I have ever tasted. I purchased lemon/lime and I straight away threw it as I cant take the awful taste.

Good Flavour with Great Benefits!
I personally picked up the Green Apple flavour and it reminds me of those artificial apple sweets I used to eat back in the day, though more sweet than sour. It’s a little bit of a shame that this product includes artificial sweeteners to strengthen the Apple sweet taste. Though the product was still easy to drink and was very soluble and mixed well when shaken in water with no residue powder at the bottom of the shaker cup.For £17.99, you get 39 servings, working out to about £0.46 per a serving which is quite good. I did take a servings after each workout I did for the last few days and I did notice a difference in recovery which is great, though this could be a placebo effect for all I know...This would’ve been a 5 star review if Star Nutrition didn’t decide to mix in healthy sweetener alternatives with controversial chemical ones. Still, worth giving a shot due to its great value.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Vegan athletes are animal and health conscious, right? so why the artificial sweeteners
This product feels like a mixed bag to me. I like the fact that it's vegan derived amino acids, but not that they have included acesulfame-K and sucralose as artificial sweeteners. To me it't like mixing gold with soot, just doesn't make sense. There are a number of much healthier sweetener alternatives, so why add chemicals that are known to be controversial? Vegans generally care what they eat and drink and it's not always exclusively just animal welfare, we care about our own welfare as well, especially if our focus is on physical development and training.Ok, the good bitsI use this supplement with my flavourless protein powder, it adds just enough taste to the mix, although I do detect that synthetic flavour. By itself it mixes up well with water and tastes ok. The formulae feels good, it adds some punch to training when taken a while before hand and of course will compliment the synthesis of muscle development. Supplements like these should be taken for long periods of time to really notice any gains, it's a cumulative process.

Decent BCAA Powder
My partner switches between using BCAA's in both tablet and powder form and he uses them religiously for better fueling his workouts and helping to achieve better gains. Although he's fairly happy with the composition/ratio of this one (4: 1: 1 L-leucina 4 gr, L- isoleucine 1 gr and L-valina 1gr.) he prefers his powder to be as straight forward as possible with the taste and the more bland the better, for this reason he wouldn't usually choose a flavour like this but he likes cola cubes as well as the odd coke so was happy to try it - it;s not bad and certainly drinkable as I thought it was quite nice compared to a lot he's used. This is around about average price for what we pay usually for a months worth of decent BCAA powder pro-rata as we're used to paying around 30 quid for the 400g tubs, so would happily get this again as it mixes well and it's not bad taste wise.

Silica gel sachet in with the powder!
So disappointing, we buy lots of powder like this as three people in my house use it, never have I found a silica gel sachet sealed inside the tub of powder!!!! I poked my finger round to find the scoop and pulled out a silica bag, this has put me off even wanting to mix 1 drink up to try it, why is this in with the product, never have I come across this before, the powder actually smells musty and horrid, this will be going in the bin unfortunately I will not even be mixing 1 up. Shame as was keen to try the apple flavour and this new brand

Drinkable
I went for the apple flavour - it doesn't smell too nice in the pot so I was a bit wary but once mixed it also tastes quite nice. Not too offensive like some other supplements can be.The pot is quite small which is good and is actually sized for the amount of product you get rather than other brands which give you a pot double the size for half the product. This makes storage nice and simple. The only thing I question is the use of some of the sweetening agents which given its meant to be a nutritional product could have been better selected.Other than that going from the nutritional values on the packaging it seems a decent BCAA powder.

Great flavour
Branched Chain Amino Acids comprises of Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine. These essential aminos can't be produced by the body so have to come from your diet. Leucine is particularly important as it acts as a signal that activates the body's process to build muscle. As this is a 4.1.1 ratio it has more Leucine.Really enjoyed this lemon and lime flavoured drink. Drank it during weight training sessions and randomly throughout the day. Great refreshing taste, mixes well with water. Currently priced at £17.99 for 39 servings. Works out to be about 46p a serving. Which i think is fairly priced. Highly recommended

Would have been better with fewer ingredients.
This powder contains L-leucina, L- isoleucine and L-valina and is vegan friendly. They are great for helping muscle growth although you really do need to be exercising hard and taking plenty of protein to really get any benefit.I would have preferred this to be plain, but it contains sodium cyclamate, acesulfame K, sucralose and sodium saccharin to sweeten and flavour it. This is not only questionable but gives it a strong aftertaste that puts me off taking it again. It would have been better to make it so it could be added to something else of your choosing.
