I’m really happy with the build quality. I can use it for hours at a time without issue. Cheap tips will actually become molten or chip. This tip is a quality part because it does not melt or chip when under normal operating temperature for a long time. This tip is excellent for getting heat to the board quickly. I use it for desoldering small components. I’m using it with my auyoe 429 iron.

use solder removing braid? the bent shape with its wide, flat, tip really works great. The low price is spot on.Now the bad. You will learn what the expression "a slow boat from China" refers to. Good heat transfer and small enough tip to still get into small spots.

Though not what I thought it was going to be, this has turned out to be my favorite tip for everything from tiny surface mount up to large lugs!I originally bought one of these thinking it was tiny in both dimensions, and was disappointed to find out that it is actually wider than a normal tip. Yet it turns out to be the most convenient - it is great for flowing solder over a series tiny 0.4 mm spacing pins of surface mount IC's - the trick is to use surface tension NOT iron size to make the desired connections without shorts. Meanwhile the thermal mass and lack of a point mean it works better and is less likely to burn up than a tiny point. Finally, when I want to do something bigger or work with solder braid, I flip it over and use the back of the curve.
