Q: My medium size pants are an inch too long but waist is fine should I go to a small? am 69 inches

I'm 69 inches tall and the medium fit absolutely perfectly. These pants are so comfortable. Highly recommended.

Q: does the elastic hurt your waist? I can't stand a tight elstic. prefer only draw string but hard to find

It’s a wide elastic. These are the best pants I’ve worn to date. I don’t use the draw string, so if you want pants that only have draw strings, you most likely won’t like these.

Q: How do you order 55% cotton pants?

Look at the tag of Whatever pants you are interested in. The fabric mix will be there. I believe the usual is 8-12% spandex and the remainder is cotton. Many pants use spandex with synthetics. I do NOT like them.
