Sooooo yummy!
I had been looking for an upgraded or better version of turtles that weren’t too pricey. These exceeded my expectations. Chocolate was smooth and tasty. There were lots of pecans. Caramel was on point. Everything blended beautifully together. Please get some more (and for the same price or less). I saw on Amazon where these dainties were selling for almost the same price, but you only get half the amount! Now, I can’t dig that.

Arrived in perfect shape on a hot day. Delish!
Arrived in perfect condition on a 90° day. They were packed with a small ice pack in an insulated padded envelope, then packed in a box. Although the ice pack had melted, my chocolates are still in perfect shape. Most importantly they are delicious. This is my second box. I love these. The only thing I’d prefer is if they used a whole pecan instead of pieces.

Delicious and Giftable, But Very High Price
I love everything about these candies except for the price. The chocolate is not the smoothest or highest-quality I've tasted by any stretch, but it blends perfectly with the creamy, buttery caramel. The pecans are perfect. They are soft enough to feel chewy, but still have an initial crispness to them for texture. The box makes a perfect gift and certainly gives the impression of a quality box of chocolates, as opposed to a grocery store box of DeMet's Turtles. But are these chocolates so much better than DeMet's that they are worth more than three times the price? For personal use, I would have to say NO. However, if you need a nice gift for somebody who loves turtle candies, this makes a very nice presentation.SIDENOTE - Contrary to what another reviewer posted, DeMet's Turtles sell at WalMart and Dollar Tree for $1.00 for a 1.76oz package. That works out to $.57 per ounce, or $7.98 for 14 ounces (compared to $26 for this product). I'm not sure where that reviewer came up with her pricing, but even if you buy DeMet's Turtles in a more giftable package, they are still barely over $1 per ounce.

Best tasting pecan turtle clusters ever!
Loved every one of these delicious things. I’d like to have a years supply. But the method of transport leaves the candy a melted mess. I may have to wait a while before I order any more.
