Great choice for an in home step ladder.
I don't write reviews much and don't get excited that often but when a guy finds the right tool for the job, happiness ensues and I should tell somebody. I bought this ladder to help reach high dishes, replace lights, you know the things that are just out of reach. This little latter is great and Rubbermaid has done a great job with the design. First, it's sturdy. Second, really love that it has a handle for holding on above the top step; I've used the ladder already and needed this and found it a very safe and useful feature, one that some other ladders lacked. Third, it's just the right size and doesn't require me to drag in my house ladder when I need to reach something inside the house. And to that point it fits in my coat closet so I can keep it close and get it out when needed. The folding and locking took me a couple of practice tries but they are fine and the ladder itself is light and easy to fold. I'm also realizing that it was probably designed for painters and may use it for painting the house too. I'm pleased and think you will probably be as well.

Lightweight sturdy ladder
I love this ladder. I’m disabled after multiple spinal surgeries and this ladder is very light weight & its sturdy. I have high shelves in my craft room and searched a long time for the right ladder. I feel safe on this ladder. The top part is higher than my knees and it has the shelf to set stuff on that I’m getting down. This allows me to hold on with both hands when climbing down. It did take me a bit to figure out how to fold it. You have to pull out on the slides on the shelf at the same time to fold it down. Then pull up on the lever under the top step to fold the ladder. And it folds pretty flat. Overall a good ladder.

NICE! Lightweight at just 9 LBS
This step ladder was designed and manufactured very well. The project tray on top has a nice locking mechanism. I have 4' and 8' Werner-branded aluminum ladders and needed something in between so chose this instead of the more expensive Werner 6' ladder. On occasion I would use the 3rd step on my 4' ladder and always felt in danger of falling. The 3rd step on my 4' ladder is 36" high and on this one, it's less, at only 29" but has a full-size step so feels much safer. If I need to reach higher, I grab my 8' ladder.

Won't "let you down"!!
This little gem is very lightweight and easy to use and store. I can't name a single change that would improve it! It's plenty tall enough for me (at 5'2") to reach an 8 ft ceiling. And the tool tray at the top of the ladder means I don't need to get down to grab a tool; and the tray holds a paint can, too. I feel very secure at all times, including when standing on the top step. And speaking of the top step - when I'm up there I have the ladder top to lean against, which is a nice extra. The ladder is very easy to fold and unfold, unlike the unwieldy ladders I've had before. And it's weight, at under 10 lbs, means I can carry it with one hand, or tucked under my arm. It stores almost anywhere, including behind a door. (It could hang up, as well.) This is a great ladder that will never "let you down"!! 😉

Great light duty ladder
Purchased 2/9/21 for $55. I use this ladder a couple hours a week, every week. Have realistic expectations with this item. I purchased this particular item because I wanted a ladder that was light and maneuverable in small spaces. I purchased a Dyson cordless vacuum over a Miele, even though it is a worse vacuum, because I could grab it fast and easy more often. Same logic with this ladder. This ladder isn't the most sturdy but I wouldn't describe it as weak. I used it shortly after I purchased on an uneven surface (it does say not to do this right on the ladder..) and now it has a very slight warp/wobble to it. It's not very noticeable and doesn't really affect the performance. A steel ladder likely wouldn't have experienced this. Ensure the surface is flat and the ladder is unencumbered and you shouldn't have any issues. My wife and I are 130lbs and 150lbs. If you are much heavier than this I would not buy this ladder. The weight limit says 225lbs, I'm sure it wouldn't collapse at that weight, but you would probably need to be quite careful with it. The tray option is certainly strong enough. A gallon of paint is fine on it. I'm never worried about it unlocking accidentally and falling closed on me, dropping whatever is on it. This strong lock means closing it can kind of be a pain. Closing the ladder itself is easy enough, although it's not as ergonomic or intuitive as you might think. I usually close it with one hand and my hip. When using two hands place your other hand not on the legs of the ladder. I trapped my finger one of the first times I used it which was an unfortunate experience to say the least. Solid 4 stars. It's a light maneuverable aluminum ladder. If it were a little sturdier and didn't bite I'd say 5.

Strong,sturdy,well made
I Love this 3 step ladder. SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT. I have had the same one for many years @ 10. It's in a lot of my old project pictures. I retired the old one by giving it away one day, to a person that need one. So I saw same one, that had a tool tray pull out. Why not,I deserve it. Perfect for many projects, super lite and sturdy.but listen to the weight limit. They say and restrict lbs for a reason..225 lbs should be max. Hope this helps great 3 step Rubbermaid.

Absolutely amazing! I'm very very satisfied with this purchase. Thank you, Amazon, you are the lifesaver for me. This ladder is fantastic for replacing light bulbs in the ceiling and don't have enough time to shop and/or finding it too difficult to pick one up from shops. The ladder is super light and can fold for easy storage. Love it! Thanks again for offering this amazing product and combined with the timely delivery service. 10/10!
