iKANOO Portable Bluetooth Speaker (BT008 Black)

Never worked for me and there is no realistic support. When I turn it on, there's a voice that comes on, but it's in some Asian language which I don't understand. There was no user manual and when I went to their website, it was mostly in the foreign language even though I had English set. I paired and connected to my PC, but it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, each time with the Asian language saying something. I'm pretty expert with Bluetooth and Windows device handling, but couldn't find the problem. I was hoping it's a driver problem, but when I go to the download section on their website, it has nothing on the page to download. Didn't cost much, though. But that makes it not worth returning. I guess you get what you pay for. I thought it was weird that the red one is twice was expensive as the black one. I got the black. Now I wonder if the black ones are defective and they are selling them cheap to suckers like me. Sure wish I knew what the voice was saying. I was hoping it was telling me what was wrong, but I couldn't find a way to change the voice to English. On the other hand, it's probably telling me "Sucker! Ha ha ha ha ha" :-)

Very nice looking speaker, paired easily with my Kindle hdx. Unfortunately the stand was missing and it appeared to have been used. There was foreign matter in the speaker grid and scratches on the plastic case. The sound also kept breaking up despite being right next to my Kindle. I rarely return things but I reluctantly returned this.

The foreign voice is irratating every time you connect and disconnect. It would be better to be a tone indicating connected or disconnected.

It's a nice looking speaker, if it works. I had a similar speaker cine with an apple product a year ago so decided to buy this for my office. It paired once briefly and never paired again . I tried it on my iPhone , several in fact, as well as several different iPads. Bluetooth never connected.

Like the speaker, 2nd one of this type I have purchased from Amazon. This one has voice prompts in Chinese. I don't live in China or do I speak Chinese

This device was at a great price however, I've paid same price for another Bluetooth speaker and receive better quality.Only consider if you're giving as a gift for an pre-teen or teenager.

Nice size and sound. Pairing could not be easy and lends itself well with just about anything Bluetooth. Would be nice if protective pouch or encasement for mobility were available.
