This is the third adapter I got to use a garden hose at my kitchen sink. This is the winner. The first didn't have an aerator, and it did slightly leak when the hose was attached. The second had an aerator but it swiveled and no matter what it leaked from that part endlessly. This one is perfect, and not even the slightest leak.

After seeing great reviews, ordered one and got it delivered today. I wanted to add this to my bathroom sink faucet so I can connect a garden hose and water the plants in my small patio garden.I removed the aerator from the faucet yday and today when I got this adapter I simply connected it and didn’t need the female adapter. As another reviewer said , the aerator in this item is much better than the original one I had in the faucet before.Now I am waiting for the garden hose from Amazon to be delivered so I can connect and start watering the plants.I am thinking of getting another one for my garage faucet.Update on 8/26: I love this adapter and has been using it to connect my garden hose and water my patio garden. Very happy with it.

This definitely did exactly what I needed it to do, and the swivel was also a neat add on. Throwing a few more O-rings into the kit would be nice. My only complaint, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, was that the threads are very sharp, or at least they were on mine. While screwing on a hose to this fitting, the threads actually cut my finger a bit, nothing worse than a papercut, but still mildly annoying, and shouldn’t happen. Be careful.

Fits on good and doesn't leak I use it to fill up fish tanks and it's a game changer

The media could not be loaded. This adapter is very useful and I am extremely happy with my purchase.It installs very easy, just remove your old aerator and screw this one into the faucet. I didn't even need to use pliers to install this one. And it fits on all my faucets in my house.I specifically like this one because you do not need to remove it when you aren't using a hose. It can still be used as just an aerator for your faucet. Plus the water flow is very strong! You don't need to worry about a lack of water pressure coming out your hose.

That little blue pieceapoo wrench doesn't work to get the over tightened aerator out but a screwdriver and hammer eventually did.I need it to come out easily for a better gpm when using a hose.Back to shopping for the right one.
