Kerastase Dermo-Calm Bain Vital Haute Tolerance for Sensitive Scalp Hair Shampoo, 8.5 Ounce

This shampoo has helped my scalp along with my conditioner. The best part is you use very little at a time so it goes a long way. It is sudsy and soothing to my scalp. I love Kerastase products and stopped using them when they discontinued the conditioner I use. Thought I would try this and it is great. Good value.

Bought this for my BF as he was apparently having an allergic reaction to something and could not figure out what was bothering him. So tried this shampoo based on brand familiarity and other reviewers. He is now very happy, states his hair is soft and has good volume, not dry and most importantly, his rash has gone and he states his scalp feels good. This is a rather expensive shampoo, but he uses very little each time and his comfort is worth any price. Will definitely be purchasing more of this shampoo.

Shipped to my house quickly and was sealed. I saw a lot of reviews about the smell and I don’t mind it, to me it’s very subtle. Hair feels extremely clean, but my scalp doesn’t feel stripped like many other anti dandruff shampoos tend to do. Also a very good value, this product typically sells for more, so I’m glad I could save a little money on a high end product. So far, I plan on ordering again

I've struggled with psoriasis for years and this product was recommended to me by my hairstylist. It is the only thing that seems to make a difference in the redness, scaliness and itchiness. I know it won't work for everyone, but for me, it's amazing. I've tried many tar products, tea tree, anti-dandruff, etc. and nothing has really worked. My skin really responds to the salicylic acid in the shampoo.

I've been using this product for several years because I have sensitive scalp, specially when I color my hair. I use their other products in between coloring. This shampoo makes my hair shinny and silky soft and feels wonderful on my scalp. I also use Kerastase Specifique Masque Hydra-Apaisant hair conditioner whenever I color my hair. I leave it in for 25 minutes and rinse. I love their products.

Love this stuff! I have color treated dry hair and a super sensitive scalp. This leaves my hair shiny and smooth. It’s super concentrated so you only need to use a little bit.

I first tried this shampoo when I was out of the country a few years ago and when I came back to the U.S. I was told that is was discontinued. Since then I've tried so many different things to help my dry flaky scalp and nothing has worked as well as this shampoo. It is definitely pricey but lasts a while; I shampoo my scalp about three times a week and it lasts for about 8 months. I don't know why it works so well but it does, love it.

Our cruise ship salon was selling this, bought one on ship for granddaughter who has long long hair. She loves it and I bought one too from Amazon. Only need a little for shampooing.

I have a sensitive scalp and most shampoos irritate my head so much that I’m scratching my head sore. I’ve tried LOADS of so-called scalp friendly shampoos and the ones that seem to suit me most are body shop ones. However, having used these for some years, my hair seemed a bit dull so, thinking I needed a change, I thought I’d try another brand. After much research, I bought this kerastase one (which was the most I’ve ever spent on shampoo). Well. My scalp doesn’t itch anywhere near so much which is great, but after a week of daily use, my hair has lost every scrap of moisture and shine it had, leaving my hair flat, dull and full of static. Now, I’m assuming I’ve got the genuine product - never totally sure when not buying direct from Amazon - but it’s gone in the bin and I’m going back to my old tried and trusted brand. So disappointed.

As I suffered from eczema, which affected my scalp, this product was recommended to me by my hairdresser many years ago and I have used it ever since. It is kind to my skin, but also a great shampoo for my hair. My husband had similar problems with his scalp and started using Kerastase Dermo-Calm Bain Vital and his skin has cleared up completely. We wouldn't use any other shampoo.

I bought this thinking it will be light on my hair and scalp, but was disappointed as it left my hair and scalp both terribly dry and flaky. I could have just washed. My hair with soap and probably had a similar effect. Do not recommend purchasing this.
