Grandson loved it.

Disappointed.
Bought as an intended introduction to the vertebrate skeleton for a child. Vague terminology used often. The human skeleton had its "arm bones" and "hand bones" labelled. The penguin had its "flipper bones" labelled. Look elsewhere if you want to introduce a child to what the actual bones are called. There were some interesting facts about the various taxa, but as a book specifically about vertebrate bones I would have liked more detail and attention to the fundamentals.
