Lindt EXCELLENCE 90% Cocoa Dark Chocolate Bar, Dark Chocolate Candy, 3.5 oz. (12 Pack)

I’ve tried a lot of dark chocolate over the years, including 100% bars from other brands—and let me tell you, those can be really bitter. I honestly didn’t expect much from this Lindt 90% bar, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s bold, rich, and has that deep cocoa flavor, but it’s also smooth and easier to enjoy than most high-percentage chocolates. It actually tastes more like 85% to me, in the best way.Besides the taste, there are some nice health perks too. Dark chocolate is full of antioxidants, can support heart health, and might even give your mood a little boost. It’s also low in sugar, so it feels like a smart treat when you want something satisfying without overdoing it.One tip: avoid eating it with meals. Dark chocolate has polyphenols, which can interfere with how your body absorbs iron—especially non-heme iron from plant-based foods. I’ve learned it’s better to enjoy a piece between meals, especially if you’re watching your iron levels.

I love these bars of really dark chocolate. So I ordered a dozen of them. It never occurred to me that warm weather could be a problem although it should have because I remember years ago when I lived in San Antonio, there were some companies that would not ship chocolate products in the summer. Anyway, this came in a big box that was insulated with about an inch of some kind of foamy material all around all the sides and the bottom, and the top, and there was an ice pack in the box with the package of chocolate bars. They arrived absolutely perfect. The ice pack had melted, but the chocolate bars did not seem to be the slightest bit affected by heat.

I eat a low sugar diet, so dark chocolate is a standard part of my every day diet. While Lindt doesn't have the most complex flavors out there, it is decent for mass produced chocolate. I like that the 90% dark doesn't have any emulsifiers. The flavors of the chocolate don't come out very well when just munched on quickly. This is a chocolate that is better allowed to melt in the mouth and taken time with. It has a very smooth texture as it melts. The flavor is fairly one note, but it does do a good job at lingering on the taste buds. As a "daily driver", it works great for me because craft chocolate is far more expensive.

Although the package waiting for me at the gate when I got home, it was very warm including the items inside tonhelp keep it cool we're very warm, fortunately the chocolate bars were in great shape all I did is have to put them in the refrigerator, so all in all, all is well

Tasty but I prefer Ghirardelli. The Lindt chocolate is smooth and perfectly dark. There aren’t nearly as many raspberry bits as Ghirardelli and way more seeds. These bars are more budget friendly but I think I’ll pay the extra for Ghirardelli next time.

This is my favorite healthy treat to have just a couple of squares after dinner as dark chocolate is really good for you and Lindt is always the best chocolate ever. Have to also say WOW I was really surprised to see how well these were packed as it included a large ice pack and thick padding even though the pack had melted it was still really cold. Thank you for taking the extra care so these would not melt very appreciated!

I buy these dark chocolate bars regularly. I eat a square a day and this method of purchasing provides the best value. The quality of the chocolate is very good. It lasts well, stays fresh over several months.

I thought it might be too bitter.for mum,turns out after 5 strokes it tastes good! It was a fantastic price(12.95 in April )when I bought a whole box,now it's 70. Imagine if I got her a case of boxes,it would be worth big money now.cant afford it now
