Good el wire. Made this for a customerMy etsy “DracoderArts”I used superglue to hold into place, doesnt make it look the best but was my first time doing itWould recommend.Didn’t hear much of a noise from this one i got.

The item is fairly well tuned for nighttime use where there is very little ambient light but anything other than Darkness it falls on its face and does not cause much glow or projection during daytime or even low light conditions and is also not adjustable. Powered by only two Double A's being 3 volt is the primary reason for this and the wiring feeding the actual light tube from the controller is extremely thin and very fragile. It's literally the smallest wire you can get and is almost impossible to splice making it hard to repair or adapt or wire together or anything else. I guess you get what you pay for but I'm not sure I can actually use the item for what I wanted for the several reasons above

In person it doesn't look nearly as bright as in the photo

This stuff is fantastic. I have used it for a few projects and it always blows peoples minds. It’s so easy to use and looks great. I just use super clue for any curves and don’t have any issues. The lights are surprisingly brights - especially at night. Only side not is I always need to use more than I think. For my project I used 48 ft, but since it’s so affordable it isn’t bad. 10/10 love it !

The belt clip broke and the wires snapped on the first use. But the light itself works really well for costumes or something where you want a dimmer glow.

I may have expected a bit much out of EL wire for brightness, but while it's very bright when just sitting on a workbench if you expect to use it to cast much light you'll be disappointed. Also, the power circuit does have a very noticeable high-pitched hum, if you put it inside of something this is mostly blocked out, but I can still hear it just a bit. My ears are still quite sharp, though, and some of my friends as well as my 65+ year old father couldn't hear anything without putting their ears right up next to the box, so your mileage may vary on that.

Works awesome. Was able to make our own stick man costume for my son. Great quality. Nice and bright, and exactly what he wanted. It does have a sight hum when the lights are on but being we were outside wearing it you don’t really notice it.

Cheap, so I gave them a shot. The aa battery supply circuit is loud, would it really be too hard to use simple led's and a resistor? Inside the box is no less than 12 different electronic components. I tried to hook it up to a direct 12v dc and no power flows though, jump the battery box with 12v and you get some bright lights for 10s before the cheap and over engineered circuit board fries. For $9 it was almost worth the fun, bad lights get something else.

Product doesn’t even turn on

Honestly didn’t think it was gonna be bright at all but irl it’s very descent brightness. Plus it’s a good price wouldn’t have made me upset if it wasn’t bright but I’m happy it was bright enough for my standards. :)

... It's only ok. The product itself works as expected and it did the job I needed to do with zeo issue. My only criticism is the lighted wire itself isn't nearly as bright as the images indicate. I made an out door garden sculpture. Wired the EL wire into the spots required and turned it in. I thought the wire was broken, but it turns out it was just so dim it doesn't shine in day light. It does shine at night, but you have get quite close to notice. I'm sure it looks great indoors at night. It's limited to those perametres - indoors and visible in dark, DARK areas.
