Great, But Holy Heck Is It Expensive!
I finally decided to break down and invest in the ELS system, because I competitive shoot Glock and a 1911, and I was tired of lugging around two different belts. To Safariland's credit, this is a very well thought out system, and these little clips sure do make it easy to configure (and reconfigure) a belt in a hurry. My only beef is the price ... at almost $15 per clip, you *really* have to want to invest in this system to get it where it needs to be. That said, it's been a good investment and I don't regret it at all.

Great mounting and adaptability for accessories or carry items
This system works great for mounting items like TQ or pepper spray to a drop leg or belt. It allows the removal and change out of items which could be mission specific. Especially helpful for K9 handlers

Exactly what I ordered but buy with caution
I didn’t do my research but that’s my own fault so this still gets 5 stars because it’s exactly what was advertised. This is NOT QLS (for holsters) this is Safariland’s solution for modular magazine and equipment pouches.(Pouch gets fork, spot on belt gets receiver)I got them in the mail expecting QLS (my mistake I know) I figured this still may be a worthwhile purchase so I did research on how to mate pouches I have to this ELS system….after what it would cost to go from my pre-existing pouch to an adapter that would accept the ELS fork on the punch and then a second adapter to go from my Molle belt to the ELS receiver….it was gonna be something to the tune of an additional $20-$30 per pouch… and additionally I was gonna have the punch offset from my belt by an additional 1/2” to get caught on stuff easier… not worth it to me. These are really only intended to be used on Safariland competition(or duty) belts already compatible with ELS in conjunction with Safariland pouches specifically made for ELS compatibility 😅.

Versatility on a belt
The Safariland Equipment Locking System (ELS) is a wonderfully versatile system. It can be used for pistol magazines, shotgun shell holders, rifle magazines, and multiple other items which need to be carried on a competition or duty belt. The ELS is not appropriate for holsters. The Quick Locking System (QLS) is used for holsters. I have only one complaint about the ELS system. Buying the ELS receivers and locking forks gets expensive, but the old saying of you get what you pay for applies. I have used my ELS equipment for over a year and there is no indication of looseness or wear. It is a quality product which is adaptable to a variety of manufactures. If you can clean your gun, you should be able to figure out how to use the ELS with gear you already have. The first two items I put on my competition belt using ELS were two dual magazine pouches, one for single stack mags and one for 9MM Glock mags. The pouches started out as low cost paddle pouches . By looking at how the locking fork was configured and observing the construction of the pouches, I was able to remove the paddle and attach the ELS locking fork to the pouch. Now, using the same receiver plate, I can use either single stack mags with my Colt Gold Cup, or Glock mags when I am using my 17. The allen head screws Safariland uses with the ELS and QLS appear to be proprietary to Safariland, as I was unable to find them at a national fastener supplier. However the tread pitch of 8 X 32 is common and allows some flexibility in using over the counter hardware. I used over the counter"T" nuts in my mag pouch project. Safairland also sells a Customizer package, which is a huge help in custom ELS and QLS applications. I highly recommend the ELS, especially if you are playing more than one gun game. I also think it would be very helpful for personnel who may need the ability to change their duty belt to meet a variety of duty or tactical situations.

Love it! Awesome amazon customer service.
Product is AWESOME and love the ability to remove and swap holsters. UNFORTUNATELY I got shorted on what I paid for!It was supposed to contain two of each but I only received 1 of each. DISAPPOINTED as I did not expect that from Safariland!!UPDATE: I messaged Amazon and they are replacing the item at no cost. I have ordered numerous items from Safariland and have never had any issues as they are a great company. I believe it was just an oversight on there part. Will continue ordering Safariland products through AMAZON.

I expect better from Safariland
I got this because I made the jump to an ELS system, and while the ELS system itself is nice and convenient, when I got 3 of these hardware packs, the screws and spacers are all different. I'd have been completely screwed if I didn't have a boatload of hardware in a drawer already.I hope Safariland gets their act together. For as much as their stuff costs, they can spring to give you at least the bare minimum of hardware for the different configurations of stuff to support.
