I needed a light for my living room and this was perfect. Decent size to easily fit any where. But the best thing is it gives great light and you can adjust it just by turning off 1 or 2 of the 3 if you want it dim.Putting together was super simple (for the most part). Although I do suggest starting with the top and working down, otherwise it's really hard to get the extra bit of cord into the stem. The shades are a little tricky. But there is mark to line up the openings, and from there, you just got to get crafty in fully connecting the 3 other openings.***I do suggest NOT leaving it tilted or partially attached. If the entire shade doesn't have equal space between it and the bulb, it might become a fire hazzard.So glad I purchased. So far it seems to be a good buy at a great price

I am updating my previous review, the lamp is short, But that was my fault not theirs, I should have paid attention to the measurements before buying, they were very responsive and even though I was at fault they still worked hard to make me happy. I do Recommend

Just put together the light. It seems decently well made, time will tell on the quality and durability of course. The packaging is pretty awful. The soft styrofoam arrives crumbled and continues to crumble during the assembly process leaving the space littered with little balls of styrofoam that pose a hazard for small animals and children. Be prepared and have a vacuum nearby to capture all the little bits of styrofoam that will inevitably scatter.It's also shorter than i would have prefered. My bad for not reading the dimensions before ordering. It is barely tall enough to function as a desk side lamp. Maybe if you were sitting directly on the floor underneath the light the output would be alright, but the dispersion of the light for sitting on a couch or a desk would be much better if it was taller. With it being shorter, the light is more concentrated to that specific area rather than having the space to disperse and provide diffused light over a larger area. For the desk space pictured one would likely need two of these to provide balanced light for the area. Something to be mindful of before ordering.

Metal and plastic. Very sturdy, and easy to put together. Stylish grow lights. Yes its for my plants. Sits on carpet and can move the gooseneck in any position and still very sturdy. Gooseneck are independent of each other and also one is shorter than the other two. The cord sticks out of top of the feet so not easy to camouflage. I think it's a good value for the price. Less than $50.00.

I like the shape and look. Wish I would have gotten the tinted shades instead of plain white. It looks cheap with the white shades. Easy to assemble except, trying to get the shades on is quite difficult.

Lamp is for living area where there is no room lighting. It is not the sturdy one I had before. It requires that I place a chair in front of it so it won't tip over. I needed a new one, the other one shorted....would not light up anymore. THIS LAMP BASE IS CONSTRUCTED BADLY, AND THE BODY OF THE LAMP WHICH SHOULD SCREW IN SECURELY TO THE BASE, IS ASKEW. But I really needed the lamp or my living area is too dark day and night. I am fully aware it is neither amazon.com's fault, nor the shipping or delivery personel...it's just a badly constructed lamp.

I have had this lamp 1 year almost. I have turned it on 3 or 4 times. It’s in a corner of a rarely used room. Reached up to move it and the entire top part fell off. Very cheap made lamp. And it wasn’t cheap

I needed a LED lamp that supported multiple bulbs that could be directed in any direction. I have developed a sensitivity to florescent bulbs which are throughout our basement. I've been wanting to clean out portions of the basement, but couldn't handle the direct florescent bulb lighting. This is relatively lightweight, so I can haul it around (I'm a 65 yr old female) from place to place. In addition, I can use (3) 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs to supply plenty of working light. Much cheaper than buying new comparable 4' LED fixtures and bulbs and then hiring someone to replace all 10 of them down there.The shades are plastic and sorta small/narrow, but I will not use the shades so I can get the maximum amount of light for the project. When I'm done with the basement project, I'll put on the shades and use the lamp in one of the bedrooms. It has a fairly small base, so it can fit into a corner easily.Well worth the investment for my purposes.
