I like this speaker very much. I have used it around the house, while doing yard work, and mostly in my work truck (which has a poor radio). I can hear it fine around our 1/2 acre lot.Pros:- It has a rubber coating, which is somewhat tacky feeling, which offers good grip. Also, as someone else said, it won't scratch or mar a kitchen countertop, or glass table. Yes, it collects some lint, but just wipe it off.- It is very loud! I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of volume produced.- The battery charge seems to last a long time, even when used at higher volume. I have used it several hours at a time, and never received any kind of low battery alert, or any indication that the battery is running low. I have not used the charging function, to charge up my phone from the speaker. (yes, it has that ability, a 3600 mah battery pak)- Includes a 1/8 to 1/8 stereo cable, in case your phone or mp3 player doesn't have bluetooth, and a USB cable for charging. It does NOT include the charger, just the USB cable. But who doesn't have a dozen chargers laying around now? Also, a small carabiner hook is included, if you want to hang the speaker from something.- Customer support!! Good job guys, see below...Cons:I had difficulty getting my phone to recognize (find) the speaker. I tried the NFC function, and bluetooth pairing functions, neither worked.HOWEVER, plainly written in the instruction manual, is an email address for support. I emailed them, and quickly received a reply, to hold down both the forward and back buttons on the speaker, and it "reset". My phone then immediately found the speaker, and paired. This is the way customer service should be.So for the other reviewers I've seen that have given a poor review for this speaker, if you would just email the manufacturer, they have a quick easy fix.

First off, this speaker really does sound good. But here's the thing, and it will seriously make you want to throw this thing against the wall, so please, consider this before purchasing.When the battery is low, there's a voice that cuts the audio every 2 minutes or so and says "battery low". And if you plug it in, while it's charging, it continues to mute your music every 2 minutes and announce the battery is low until it charges enough for the message to stop.

Was birthday present and I'm blown away by the amount of battery power it has. I received it in January 2017, and as of this writing (end of April) I have had to charge it maybe 3 times! I use it for at least 1/2 hour a day in morning and several hours at night. Extremely pleased! Sound quality is good and the controls work great with my iPhone! Extremely pleased and will purchase a second for garage!

This speaker is awesome and has an amazing charge life but the blue tooth has never worked on it so I am forced to use the audio cord -- I give it a 4/5 because without the blue tooth functionality the cord is a bit of a headache/hassle when I don't want my device to be out in the open.

This speaker is not waterproof. I brought it on my raft and had it on my chest the entire time. Water was splashing occasionally but never drenched. All the sudden, the speaker just turned off and stopped playing music. I assumed it just died because of the red light. I try charging it for 4 hours and the red light is still on. I then try charging it overnight and it is still dead! I'm thinking maybe water got deep inside and now it doesn't work.

Unbelievable sound from such a small speaker! It can take a beating too. My husband works at commercial construction sites and he takes it with him every day. It holds a charge all day and has a clip that you can attach to your belt loop or tool belt. It's the best wireless speaker that I have bought. It rivals my Böse and my Beats speakers, but at a fraction of the cost. Can not stress how great this speaker is...BUY IT!

This worked great in the backyard by the pool. It was easy to pair with my cell phone. The sound is quite loud for such as small speaker. This was a great alternative to an external speaker system just to have some music going while having a party. I like that I don't have to worry about it getting wet and the rubberized casing seems like it'll provide a bit of protection from drops.
