Puracy Professional Carpet Cleaner

Did not disappoint! I cleaned a high traffic area with some stubborn stains and WOW! Old stains are gone! The smell is wonderful, definitely not the chemical smell from other cleaners, it’s fresh. My carpet is bright and super soft! Easy to use, great value and a clean product. Tip: mix as directed, don’t be tempted to add more, it’ll foam.

Wow!! I am amazed. I usually don’t do reviews but I was too impressed not to. I used this on my high traffic dirty indoor out door rug and it made it like new! I honestly thought I was going to have to toss the rug, I’ve cleaned it so many times and it never came out this clean. I have used both a homemade non toxic solution as well as the toxic common brands and would have to spend hours pressure washing it after spending hours with the carpet cleaner and it still would not get as clean. Not only is this non toxic and doesn’t have a strong smell, it’s a super cleaner! Beyond impressed.

If you cannot stand the overly powerful scent of most carpet cleaners, this is for you!! I was looking for a natural and not heavily scented carpet/upholstery cleaner for my hoover upholstery cleaner and this product delivered. You only need 1 oz for 100 oz of water (my Hoover doesnt even take 100 oz in the clean tank) so this bottle will last forever! The price may be higher than the leading brands but worth it if it lasts you 6+ months. I have a white/Grey couch with 3 kids (yikes). I used this on the ottoman and the arms of the couch (dirtiest areas) and they look good as new!!! No heavy scent whatsoever, just looks and smells clean. If you are looking for a more natural alternative to the Bissell or leading brand cleaner, this is it!

I adore Puracy products. I've purchased their entire line. Ive turned friends and family onto Puracy and they love it. I recently corresponded with the company about a leakage issue I had with a couple of their deliveries. I received a refund or replacement quickly and without issue (didn't have to send in the defective bottle or send pictures as proof). What really impressed me, beyond the fact that their cleaning products can't be beat for their effectiveness; smell; earth-, people-, pet-friendliness, is the level of customer service. I wrote to them telling them how I love their products but was concerned about leakage during shipment. I received an email response from the CEO two days later. He was concerned not only about my satisfaction but also about getting to the bottom of the problem. What caused the leakage? Was it changes in air pressure when they shipped by air? Was it the glue on the protective seal? Was it due to drastic temperature differences (I live in the desert)? This was the level of attention the company paid to the issue. If I recall I think the rep told me they've recently improved their seals and I probably got seals version 1.0. I'm pretty sure they would have sent me products for my trouble and helping them with leakage forensics had I not told them I'm not looking for freebies (who knows--maybe they did send something because my interaction with them was just a few days ago). Where else can you find customer service like that? The reason I reluctantly gave this a four star rating is because I used the product as directed and could NOT get the soap out of the carpet. My steam cleaner was spewing foam. It was so bad I did an online search for a solution to this problem. The two solutions offered were to mix either Epsom Salt or fabric softener into the rinse water. I was concerned that fabric softener would end up attracting dirt when it dried, so I opted for Epsom Salt. Honestly, I don't know if the salt helped but I can tell you I have the cleanest, softest carpet in town now. :) Just so you know, all their stuff is pretty concentrated, but this was too much! I swear it was like that episode of I Love Lucy where she's got soap suds going all over the place. If it weren't for the difficulty getting the soap out I'd have given a 5 star rating. I would suggest using half a cap full (or maybe even a quarter cap full) in your soap tank (or water tank). One thing is certain, you'll have a very clean carpet. And you can rest easy knowing this is totally safe to use around kids, dogs, cats, birds, turtles, etc.

This is the best carpet cleaner on the market right now! The scent is mild but that is okay, since it still smells fresh, my carpet also went from a dark grey to light khaki. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good, quality, and effective carpet cleaner

Works good but smells not good

To start, I’ve always used Bissell cleaner for pets to steam clean my carpets. However, since I have a 4-year-old child, two dogs, and and two parakeets in the house, I am now super careful about any cleaners I use. For those you who don’t know about pet birds, their lungs are incredibly sensitive so using a chemical cleaner like Bissell could make them sick or literally kill them. I did the research and found Puracy. I was impressed by the ingredients and the reviews so I gave it a try. I am a convert! The first time I emptied the tank that collects all the used soap and water I literally had a David Rose “Oh my God” moment. I wondered how I unwittingly lived in such squalor. The water was brown, embarrassingly dark brown, and I sweep the the carpets with a Dyson twice a week! However, when you have two dogs and a kid, I guess stuff gets dirtier than you realize. I was so horrified by the contents of what I was pulling out of the carpet that I cleaned it three separate times until the water returned mostly clear. The Puracy kept pulling stuff out, in a good way! I never had such good results with Bissell. Also, I will add there was only a light citrus smell. Not the overpowering (and masking) chemical smell you get with other commercial cleaners. I stuck my nose right down in the carpet when I finished to get a good wiff and it smelled fresh and clean. Even better, the birds were unaffected and I feel good about my child and my dogs being around this cleaner. You do not have to use much to get good results. I used a tablespoon and a half in the soap tank of my steam cleaner and that did the job. If. I had used more, I suspect it would have been way too sudsy. So you’re going to get a lot of use from one bottle.

Great product, no overpowering odor left carpets soft and very clean. Nice walking on them now in my barefeet.

Literally the best! My living room carpet has never turned out so beautifully after being shampooed with my Hoover steamer. I have tried probably five or six different carpet shampoos and they left the carpet sticky and or matted down and I had to rinse many many times and it still never came out that great however, one run through with this carpet shampoo and I am totally impressed! I love that it is natural and I don’t worry about my grandkids playing on it afterwards. I honestly wasn’t sure if a natural carpet shampoo could do the job but let me tell you don’t hesitate to buy this. You will be impressed and it only takes a very little bit. I’m talking like a cap full in your machine. I used more at first and it was quite foamy, but maybe that’s why my carpet turned out so great. I did rinse it a few times afterwards but nothing like using the other chemical type shampoos. Don’t hesitate to buy this and you will not be disappointed one bottle of this will last you for a very, very long time! I shampooed my couch after and I couldn’t believe what I got out and how great it looks and the carpet and the couch are very soft. Great product!

Super!!! Cleans so well, well concentrated, smells nice, but not strong. The best!!

This product works great on the carpet, it’s natural and has minimal scent… scent be a little stronger, but it’s OK. I purchased this a year ago and paid $15.89 and now they want $50.00!!!! I don’t love it as much because of the huge price increase ~ that’s why I reduced one star and I can’t see paying $50 for it. Hoping that company understands that the huge price increase is not even reasonable and will adjust their pricing.

This worked great with our green machine. I would just note not to follow the machines cleaner ratios - i did and had a soapy mess. Follow the bottle instructions.

It cleans fine but it is *extremely* foamy. I used less than the recommended amount and the foam kept messing up my machine. I had to dilute it a few times before it ran well and then spent an hour rinsing the carpet after. Smells good. Definitely pulled out dirt. But it's a hassle.
