Tense... Cinematic... Awesome
Out of my vast collection of games, Nemesis is THE ONE for cinematic moments, tense action, and those beautiful moments of betrayal! It looks epic painted up.

Complicated but fun
I'm not gonna lie, Nemesis is a beast of a game. It's incredibly complex and has taken me hours to even scratch the surface of understanding how everything works together. But despite (or because of) this complexity, I've found myself thoroughly enjoying it. There's something about the combination of resource management, combat, exploration, and social deduction that just clicks with me.Don't get me wrong, it can be frustrating at times - especially when you realize you've made a critical mistake that sets you back hours. But when you do manage to pull off a successful strategy or outmaneuver your opponents, the feeling is incredibly rewarding. The components are top-notch and the artwork is fantastic. The game board itself is massive which adds to the sense of adventure and exploration. If you're looking for a game that will challenge you and keep you coming back for more, Nemesis might be just what you're looking for. Just be prepared to spend some time learning the rules and strategies - it's not a game for casual gamers.

Good game, good game!
I'd first just like to say that this game has nothing to do with Bruce Forsyth. I just typed that this is a good game and one of his famous catchphrases popped into my head.Well back to the review. This is a very atmospheric co-operative game,. Very, very much inspired by the Alien franchise. The large board is two sided, with one considered to be a harder ship environment than the other. But games can be difficult and short regardless, with you being horribly torn to shreds within a few turns because you've made too much noise and attracted one of the more monstrous aliens immediately.Or, as it once happened with me -My survivor had been running around the ship, miraculously achieving everything that was required of him when all else had failed. The ship's self destruct was counting down to explode and this hero was just about to climb into an escape pod, when I rolled the only number that would see him wrenched from the loving arms of safety and into the clawing, gnashing maw of gory, unpleasant death. It was one of the most memorable moments I've had playing any board game, and it was great! Not say that this game always ends with you losing but it's no walk in the park either. The game can be played solo and, in addition, it's also worth mentioning that although players can and often do work together, sometimes there can be other agendas at play which can lead to betrayal. All that said, there is a lot to enjoy here but this game is pricey and could've easily had it's costs reduced had the company just made the aliens smaller. The average, full grown, aliens tower over the player characters.Maybe they made them larger to avoid being seen as looking way too much like the Aliens they're obviously inspired by. But I think they are way too big and half the size would've been just as good. The alien queen is huge!Nonetheless all the components in this game are high quality, and the characters and the mechanisms in play here are very well done and make for a very enjoyable experience.

Well themed difficult game
As you can see from the photos it has loads of content and themed like the Xenomorph world in the Alien movies where you try to avoid or kill certain aliens that pop up but most of the time trying to avoid making noise (using a die) as you discover more rooms of the ship trying to complete either a collective objective in co-op or hidden objectives in a semi co-op mode. There's always a different scenario especially how you most likely will die near the end. I can't call many games good even when I hadn't won a single game yet. The experience is what you're paying for and oh my, what an experience this is every time you play it! Can't forget to mention it has amazing miniatures scaled for each type of alien which all fits in it's own box full of various double layered inserts.

Great fun, stick with it!
Difficult but the play it self is enjoyable. Takes a long time to setup so factor in a good 30 mins before to get that done so people aren't getting distracted. We have yet to work out the trick or strategy to not getting murdered before we hit half way but having fun learning!

Nice Add-on for Nemesis
I recently got into Nemesis and I am a huge fan of 3D objects. The base game comes with nice figures and Monsters, so I thought the objects on the map (Doors, eggs, carcasses) could also be 3D objects. This Add-on adds this to the game. Please be aware that these are no new addons just replacements for the normal game components. All components are stored nicely in the original box of the expansion. There is a double-layered plastic tray inside which holds all components in place and transparent lid

Great game
Great game production. A very strong cinematic feel.If you don't mind a game where one of the players might be a traitor and he mission might be killing you, give this game a try. Very recommended
