KLIM Lingo - Desktop USB Microphone for PC and Mac - with Mute Button - Compatible with Any Computer - Professional PC Microphone with High Definition Audio - New

Hi there. I ordered this microphone as due to COVID there has been an increased emphasis on remote working and virtual meetings, and hence the built in mic on my laptop was not really fit for purpose. I bought this as I have owned a number of other Klim computer products which have always been built well and performed excellently and reliably - especially at their price point! The Klim lingo mic is seemingly no different. It has a low key, no frills, sensible design, with a nicely weighted base and a sensibly placed 'mute' button sitting in its centre, which is handy if you need to quickly cut the audio for convenience or privacy. It's design is low key enough to be unobtrusive and professional looking for work and the audio quality is seemingly excellent as I received positive comments from colleagues in a few different 'MS Teams' meetings (without having to even to ask for feedback! - no pun intended) I can't pretend to be an expert on desktop mics, so I don't have a huge pool of reference to compare it against, but clearly the positive comments from third parties on the other side of my conversations indicate that the sound is good and a very definite step up from the built in mic in my laptop! On that basis, I am pleased to recommend this microphone as it is represents excellent value for money and good quality build and sound which should serve most users well, especially for work based meetings and even gamers who are looking for a desk based mic. Highly recommended!

Very good after my laptop microphone stopped working

I bought this because I was looking for a microphone to use for voice dictation. It looks very smart and stylish compared to many of the other similar microphones and so far appears to be working very well. I've dictated this review using it, without any errors!

Great looking microphone, base is sturdy and has abit of weight to it so won’t topple over easily, very clear sounds as I am told and looks smart on the desk. Plug & play and works within seconds. It’s great for Microsoft Team meetings while working at home. Can be used for gaming too! Highly recommended!

Plug into a free USB port, and off you go. No problems, no set up and good sound quality.

Truly plug and play. The cord from the base unit is fully flexible. A blue light tells you that the mic is active and you can turn them off if required by pressing the button on the base unit. The only issue I have is that occasionally they turn off without any button press when joining a zoom group, etc. This doesn't happen all the time but is rather annoying when it does.

Works well with zoom, reasonable sound quality, needs to be quite close to give a decent level and to work well, as is the case with most microphones. Quality product which is well made.

Cercavo un microfono di facile installazione per far fronte a delle riunioni via Zoom e questo mi è sembrato adatto. In effetti lo è, si configura da solo grazie al Plug&Play e ha un buonissimo audio. Unico piccolissimo Neo il pulsante di accensione e spegnimento al tocco temporizzato, normalmente intervengo alle riunioni diverse volte ma a distanza di tempo da una all'altra e devo sempre ricordare di controllare se c'e' la luce blu accesa, perchè dopo un po' che non parli si disattiva da solo. Un pulsante analogico di On e Off l'avrei personalmente preferito ma come dicevo è solo un Neo. Consigliato.

前に購入したミュートボタンが物理ボタンがタイプのマイクで、ミュートのオンオフの音が大きかったので、ミュートボタンがタッチボタンタイプのこちらを購入してみました。 Windows10のボイスレコーダーで録音してみました。 マイクの感度は良いです。 マイクから5センチメートルほど離れた個所で話して録音してみました。 再生すると、きちんと音声が聞き取れました。 ミュートのオンオフの音は、わずか小さい音でポッと録音されていました。 注意して聞いていないと気づかないレベルの音量でした。 ミュートボタンが物理ボタンのものより1200円ほど高いですが、ミュートを多用したい人には、こちらをタイプを購入したほうがよいでしょう。

It's pretty neat, and works well. I accidently triggered the touch sensitive button a few times. It's easy to do. Maybe they should replace it with a switch. Satisfied overall.

I had a Rode USB mini that just failed for no reason and needed a mic for zoom meetings. Grabbed this thing and it has done a great job, my audio is clear and loud. It has a little mute button on it which is perfect. If you need a cheap, good quality mic for work/study/etc you cannot go wrong with this.
