Works well with my surge guard. Nice to see voltage and current.

Product work as advertised. Remote cable too long, adding a shorter one would be an improvement.

It arrived in three days. Perfect arrival time, I'm leaving in two days to camp where there is only 30A service. This will allow me to monitor current flow. The cord is a little unwieldy. I left the tie wrap on and pulled one end loose from the inside only what I needed.

Remote panel for an essential device for any RVer. You can spend just as much or more for a all-in one unit that hooks up at the parks electrical box, but I had no intention of watching mine go the way of a five-finger discounter or let the weather beat it down. Best to buy a hardwired and install in your RV to avoid both issues. Together with the Surge Guard of your choice (30A or 50A) Surge Guard 35530 30A Hardwire Rated 120V, 30A - 2450 Joules you have the full package. Protects against high and low voltage, open wire, mis-wired and surge protection. If you do have to replace due to surge protection being used, the remote panel will likely be fine and you just replace the 35530 Guard, another advantage over a complete outdoor unit.I bought mine from Eagles Pride RV and glad I did. I said the display is OK, but really the display is the worst I have seen of ANY electronic product. The display is very dim, not bright like the photo. I will need to call and see if this is typical. The display is very dim grey on a pale display. It is very difficult to read. On top of that, you need to read it directly from in front and not have the display lower than your eye level. I wanted to mount this on the dash or below it but the display becomes totally unreadable. That is not right for something should be capable of mounting on the dash, and nearly all instruments are below eye level. Furthermore, they made the front plate about 1/3 larger than it needs to be. That is not good for potentially mounting on a dash. And as was mentioned on the main unit reviews, you cannot read the top line of the display if you are looking down at it. I am thinking of cutting the front panel and making my own lettering so the display is the minimal size needed. Also, the manual states that you can enter the date and time, but there are no instructions about how to do that and I am not sure it is even possible.I was quite surprised they would release something like this to the general public with a hard to read display and poor egonomics for typical mounting situations.

With the exception of the supplied 50 foot cord, works just fine. I found a 7 foot cord for a few bucks to avoid that 43 foot tangle.Now, that replacement cord - they are not a standard phone cord but a RJ12 (6P6C) - for Data and preserve the right to left order of the pin

The screen disappeared on my original, this is a good replacement

I replaced my old surge protector and unfortunately you have to replace the screen too even though it's the same. Added an extra $50 to the project but works great.
