Frogg Toggs Pilot Rain & Wading Jacket (Discontinued)

I bought this jacket hoping for a loosing fitting waist. Almost all of the frogg togg jackets have super tight waist bands which are very uncomfortable. This one fits perfect! Order a size smaller. The top pockets are not waterproof resulting in my wallet being soaked. Keeps me dry for the most part though. Hood fits well.

The jacket is nice and light and is definitely waterproof. It fits as it should. The only problem is the smell. This jacket smells like weed. I'm not kidding. That's how it came. It smells like weed so bad I can't even wear it to work anymore. I thought it would get better over time but it did not. I wore this jacket in some massive rain storms and it never helped the smell. I had to finally buy a new jacket just for work.

When I order a Frogg Togg product, I expect it to be heavy duty. This jacket is very light weight. The product description does not indicate a size. The jacket as delivered is about a 42 size, a bit small for most guys.

The jacket looked nice. I bought it for the purpose to use as a windbreaker/rain gear. First heavy rainstorm..the jacket leaked..material became waterlogged and gave me a good soaking..not very happy about that. Next thing to fail was the Zipper. I would recommend that if you purchase this jacket..be prepared to replace the zipper and also treat it with some waterproofing treatment. Looks nice...but the construction and quality control could be better.

I usually wear a size medium, but after reading reviews many said jacket was made big, took the advice ordered small which fits perfect. The jacket is comfy and have worn out in light rain, so still can't comment on its waterproof feature. The only down side is the main zipper, which could have been made a little beefier and hoping it holds out...so far so good.

Just the best for light weight and warm temps. Doesn't make you sweat and keeps you dry. Fit is great.

I checked several reviews, and found most thought the sizes ran larger than normal. I am typically a large, I ordered a medium and it is perfect. The sewing is first class, really like the extended length back. Haven't worn it in heavy weather yet, so can't judge level of waterproofing.

Great jacket just over priced , doesn't seam to breath as well as other frog jackets I've owned

Great jacket. fits a bit large, in my case I can wear a fleece or hoodie under it for real nasty weather. The quality is outstanding for the price, well made, and definitely rain and wind proof! Can't go wrong with this Frogg Toggs product.
