Great for heavy periods, heat-sealed seams are EXTREMELY weak.
I have heavy flow during the first 2-3 days of my period. I got tired of washing (destaining) blood-stained clothes so I got these vinyl pull on under pants. Since I usually wear a size 8/Med in clothes, I got a size Med. Boy, they're huge! The elastics are not that uncomfortable but the vinyl is super roomy. It balloons out as if your tummy and hip are supposed to be fluffy airy bread/marshmallow. It doesn't matter though. They're under my clothes (pants/shorts/skirt/dress). As long as the blood stays inside the vinyl, what does it matter what it looks like?I do a 3-layer protection during heavy days - overnight pads (or 2 overlapping heavy pads for a really long overnight pad) worn in snug panties + vinyl under pants + a waterproof incontinence mattress pad. The vinyl under pants catch leakage/spillover. The mattress pad is just there in case the vinyl under pants fail (but that hasn't happened yet). These are vinyl so you're going to perspire a bit under it. But, I only wear these for 2-3 days per months so it's not that big of a deal. I don't know how comfortable/uncomfortable this would be if I have to wear these 24/7.There's less to wash for me now during my heavy days - just underwear, no pants/shorts/skirt/dress. I only hand wash these vinyl under pants and then hang them to dry.Update 10/25/2015:What others have said is true. The seams are really very weak. After a few uses, the seams come undone. Downgraded to 2 stars. What I did to fix it was to use a soldering iron very lightly and over a PTFE cloth (oven liners) so the soldering iron will not stick to the vinyl. Be very careful when you do this. You only need a light tough otherwise your iron will melt the vinyl through. If you don't want the hassle of using a soldering iron, just apply heavy duty shipping/packaging clear tape. It doesn't look as neat as hot sealing but it's underneath your clothes. Who cares what it looks like?Another option is to use vinyl adhesive - e.g., PVC cement (the kind used in plumbing) or Loctite vinyl/fabric/plastic flexible adhesive. Apply with a cotton bud. A good preemptive step is to reinforce the seams by adhering the seam with vinyl adhesive so that it doesn't come apart when the hot seal eventually fails (and it will fail). The PVC cement is very strong so use just a small amount and spread evenly over the seam surface.

Exactly What Is Needed
I'm quite pleased with these. I use them at night because I have side effects from wearing a brace to keep my scoliosis to advancing any further. I wear an overnight pad in my underwear and then I wear these over my underwear. They have been great. I no longer have to be concerned about my bedding. Two of the pairs ripped, but that might have been my fault. I "fixed" one with duct tape and that worked. One of the pairs, though, did leak. I had to get rid of that pair. However, i had bought three sets, so I had nine of these. I throw them in the wash with my clothes and into the dryer with my clothes. I don't take any extra precautions.

Extra Protection Waterproof Soft Vinyl Pull On Under Pants 3 Pk.
These vinyl pull on underpants are best used with disposable adult briefs (diapers). They are affordable and meet expectations. As they are of a very light weight construction I find them best for nighttime use. Too much movement under clothing, such as jeans, wears them out faster. For washing I have learned it is best to launder them in a sink with warm water, mild detergent and, several rinses. Line dry as a dryer will shorten the life span.I would recommend this product.Carl S.

They do the job
I wasn't sure at first these pants were worth the money but my wife has used them for a few weeks now. We have six pair as she wears a pair night and day....and they are holding up fine. I was them by hand and when I get five of them I put them in the electric dryer on LOW heat for about 20 minutes. They are dry and no damage to either the vinyl or the elastic.

Good style of plastic pants
Most other pants I have come across have been too thick of plastic that it builds up too much heat. These, though still waterproof, are thinner and stay cool longer. And working in the warehouse can be hot enough that I don't need to have a heat stroke from below. Thinner being helpful it also means to be more careful. Don't yank them up or you could tear them. Above all, I'm a satisfied buyer.

The elastics are not super comfortable but not itchy or really uncomfortable either
These are surprisingly protective and durable for cheap plastic pants. They did eventually die on me 1 by 1 but I would say if you are looking to try out plastic pants and don't want to spend a lot then buy these. The plastic is a cloudy clear. The elastics are not super comfortable but not itchy or really uncomfortable either.

They are Good
I've been washing these by hand and then air drying them. They are holding up fine. They aren't as soft as the Kleinerts but they are much less expensive and seem to work just as well. My daughter wears them over adult pull-up diapers. They aren't leak proof 100% of the time, but nothing is and they definitely help.

Friends pleasant surprise...
Sent these to a friend struggling to make ends meet and keep his Mom out of the nursing home. He says he was pleasantly surprised when he realized he can use them and skip stripping the bed and constantly cleaning it during night time accidents. If only she could put her own panties on by herself, I'd really be in heaven he said.
