Loved this so much until it stopped working. Dealing with CS now. I would love to purchase another once I can afford to, and hope I don't have issues with any other FOREO devices!

Update 2025: stopped using for a few months and we t back to it since I noticed my skin wasn't as great as when I was using this regularly. To make sure it's worth using, I did the exact same skin routine for two days and one day I used Foreo and one day without. Took photos and videos and can tell especially the forehead is more smooth the morning after using Foreo. Also compared couple weeks progress and can see a difference, somehow more healthy looking and smoother skin texture. I have tried many many devices and this one is the best, along with red light mask. *** Take before photos before you start. After a month of daily use, I see improvements in my eyelids. They are not as saggy as before. I don't see changes the bottom half of my face though. I wanted to tackle the mouth lines but don't see a difference. I actually feel like it made my orbital cheekbone area more sunken in than before. I might only use this for the eyes, which is the upper eye and brow area - not directly on eyelids! Remember to use a good amount of activating gel or else you will receive shocks.

I've been using this little microcurrent foreo bear for about 2 weeks now and I am hooked. I have used the Nuface device a few years back, but gave up on that due to the fact that it would not hold a charge very long and just stopped working all together. Since receiving the Foreo Bear, I charged it once and two weeks later it is still going strong with the same charge. I love that a treatment is only 2 minutes long and you can follow the app that gives specific instructions. I mean who doesn't have 2 minutes? Treatments are so short that after using the app, I will do another treatment on specific areas of concern. Does it work? You betcha, you can instantly see a lift in the eye area and my cheekbones are well defined. It's a little workout for your face. Love my foreo bear.

Prospective buyers: please read numerous reviews before making your decision, and concentrate on reviews from users who have used the Bear for many months. Any reviews that don’t include a usage time period won’t be helpful to you in ascertaining the long-term reliability and impact of the product. This is the second faulty Bear device I have purchased in 2 months! Both devices stopped working -without the App - shortly after I registered them, making it impossible to use the Bear in its offline mode. The owners manual was no help & did not address this problem. When I contacted Foreo customer service, they were prompt & helpful. They did provide me with troubleshooting directions. I followed their 4-step process, but the Bear still would not work without the App. By the way, the 4-step process involves deleting & reinstalling the App, updating your IOS, and deleting your phone’s cookies & cache memory. Who wants to do that every time there is a new version of the App (current version 3.5.9) or your phone has a software update? When the device STILL did not work in offline mode, Foreo invited me to make a Warranty claim. At that point, it was easier for me to return the Bear to Amazon, as I was within my 30 day purchase period. So I did that. The replacement Bear arrived. I registered it and soon, it too, stopped working in offline mode. I followed the same 4-step troubleshooting process. Same results as before: device #2 would not work without the App. I intended to return the second Bear to Amazon, since it had also malfunctioned within my 30 day purchase period. But I missed the deadline due to the holiday season. Now I am stuck with a Bear device that will not work unless I use it WITH the App. What a hassle to make a Warranty claim for a 1-month old product! Problems with using the App: there is only ONE “Treatment” program. If you want to vary your routine, then you have to adapt to this program, which is pre-set for certain areas of the face and also pre-set with microcurrent intensities based on those areas of your face. The App also has a “Start Massage” option (separate from “Treatments”) that can be used for a freestyle facial. Note: Foreo App & owners manual does not explain if a “treatment” provides the same microcurrent benefits as a “massage?” If it does, then why are they called different things? Confusing. Also, for both “Treatments” & “Start Massage” functions, each time you have to reset the microcurrent intensity level. The App does not remember your preferences for these functions, even though you have already programmed your settings for “Pro” mode with T-sonic on level 5. I am a fan of microcurrent treatments and I recognize that the Bear is a good product. The accompanying App, however, is not. I sincerely dislike that I cannot use the device without the App. What if I have a phone connectivity or battery issue at the time that I want to use the Bear? I paid for a product that is supposed to work offline, without the App. This is bad value. And buyers & potential buyers should be made aware of this problem, which many other users have complained of in these reviews. Foreo: please correct these problems and provide better user information!

Update: the company fixed my device! It also happened pretty quickly! While the device malfunctioning was frustrating, not everything can be perfect all the time. I really do enjoy the device and I'm really glad to have it back! I originally had the nuface Trinity and I loved it! But, it was a lot to make it into a nightly routine because it would take quite a bit longer. I decided to try this one out, and it's super quick. I love the video guidance. However, after a few months it just stopped working. Hopefully foreo can help. I will say in the 5 years I had the Nuface it always worked.

I'm so on the fence with how many stars to give this foreo bear device. I've used Nuface before and didn't see any results. It also gave me shocks. So then I decided to try the bear mini. Specifically because of the anti shock feature. Plus so many great reviews about facial transformations. My initial impression of the mini is that even though it's shocking me, I do notice some slight change which was even from the first use. But I'm not convinced that it isn't just lymphatic drainage causing a slightly slimming effect. From my facial profile/double chin area I see no change, yet. (I should also mention that the light layer of serum that the videos show, that is not going to stop you from getting shocked. I'm applying a lot of microcurrent goop on my face, so much so that I have to wet facecloth it all off after each treatment. And I'm still getting shocked. I tried aloe, ultrasound gel, microcurrent gel, water based serums along with the serum included with the unit.) I decided to buy the full size bear because I thought well maybe the mini bear just doesn't have the anti shock feature? To my dismay. when I received the Bear and used it for the first (and only) time, it was shocking the s-t out of my face. I could definitely feel tha it was more powerful of a device than the mini, also. What ended up happening next is the reason I decided to return the Bear. As soon as I was done with the treatment, the left side of my face felt numb, like paralyzed sort of numb. And I felt dizzy. I am not saying that it paralyzed my face. I just temporarily thought that it might have damaged the nerve or something. Irritated it. I think that the reason I had a problem was because the spheres are so big and I couldn't easily avoid the side of my neck where the nerves run up under the ear. But I never had this problem with the bear mini. It's easy to avoid sensitive areas with that one because the spheres are smaller. So I returned the Bear and am giving the mini a chance to see if there are accumulative toning effects beyond what seems like lymphatic drainage. This is why it was hard to rate this product. I'm not sure why no one is getting shocked but me. If you could see the amount of gel I put on, you'd laugh. It's a lot. And still....zing....zing,....zing.... I'm willing to put up with that with the mini so long as it ends up toning my face. Not willing to put up with it with this full size bear, because it made my face feel so weird and numb on one side. So many people, overwhelmingly love this product so it must be doing something for them. I would just recommend going with the mini over the full size, so that you can avoid hitting the nerves that run up from under the ear, side of jaw, temple, unless you have a large face that accomodates the big spheres. It's actually a really good idea that they came out with a mini one.

i got the bear before i started doing botox and it makes a huge difference! the key is consistency and finding a decent micro-current gel that doesn’t cost $80. i found that running it over my chin and jaw 4/5 times per week sculpts and defines the jawline! i get botox for my upper face/eyes/forehead, but nothing beats the bear for lower face definition!
