CESS 1/8" 3.5mm Mono TS Female Jack Socket with Switch Panel Mount (10 Pack)

Have an old pair of Akai ASE-22 headphones that sound great, but the cable between the ear cups had developed a short. Didn’t have a thin enough socket to take the headband apart, so I figured I would take a crack at doing a removable cable mod.These two-pole 1/8 TRS jacks took solder easily, and were just long enough to pass through the outer body of the headphones. Retention of the cables is excellent and I have had zero connection issues. Very pleased with the results of my little project and the performance of the product. Now I have eight more to figure out what to do with lol.

I use these sodered to piezo disks for 3d printed instruments, and have been perfectly happy with the results.

They look good but they don't hold up. I went though 3 of them and all fail. When I plug in the jack the metal pulled it out the spring won't return so that speaker will work. it poor quailty.

I bought these for a ham radio project. They work as expected but be aware when snugging them down, there is a chance the connections can rotate and touch. In my case no big deal but if a short will cause damage, just be careful when tightening the nut.

These are a life saver when adapting toys for those who need an alternative access approach when playing
