Sound is a bit better than stock, made better by enabling HD speakers in the Sena unit settings. Huge bonus is that they fit perfectly into the Shoei RF1400. The original 20S speakers do not fit without modification due to a protrusion on the speaker housing for the wire connection.In the box is just the speakers and two "loop" style sticky pads to mate up with the "hook" side on the speakers which worked great.Added some pics that I couldn't find in other reviews that might help someone else. No one cares to see a selfie of you in your helmet with a review of speakers! They want to see how they will install into their helmet.

We upgraded our speakers on our motorcycle helmets to this product. It was very easy to install. It only took us a few minutes. The quality is great. They fit our helmets perfectly. This was a plus because we have purchased a different brand in the past that did not fit well. The best part is the performance. Our last speakers had static and an echo. This product has a smooth clear sound. You won’t be disappointed.

These headphones are a big improvement over the stock headphones that came with my 10c evo. I can hear the radio loud and clear even at high speeds on my MV Augusta F4 RR. Phone calls are very clear. I would recommend this upgrade.

I read the reviews, did my homework and when my Sena 30K headset went out I decided to replace them with the HD speakers. Took my time removing the old helmet speakers and installing the HD speakers and when I powered them up. . .WOW! All the reviews about the sound being LOUDER, clearer, and easier to fine tune with the 30K Utility app is TRUE!!! I immediately had to turn the volume down on both my helmet headset and my Bluetooth phone hookup. After gradually brining up the volume I used the App to fine tune the bass, and other tweakable controls and dialed it in just the way I wanted it. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, I haven't been able to test it with my helmet on while riding my motorcycle. . .that's next and I can't wait!

Difficult to get wires in helmet

Long story short-ish, I purchased a new old stock Sena 30k to go with my new Shoei Rf1400 helmet. To my surprise I found out that the original Sena 30k speakers do not fit the cut outs of the Shoei Rf1400... surprisingly no video or documentation online shares this info. So I went on the look out to purchase a new set of speakers that fit. It came down to these HD ones or the slim ones. I ended up taking a risk on these even though the documentation states that these are bigger than oem. Well low and behold these fit the cut outs perfectly. So if you have a sena 30k and shoei rf1400. Buy these. The sound is twice as loud, the speakers actually fit and technically with these and the firmware updates to the sena 30k it makes the 30k the exact same as the 50s/r in terms of future set.

God I hate Sena helmet communicators; total garbage. I first had the 10S for a few years, the sound was horrible, poor volume and the batteries eventually swell and became useless. Getting them to pair was ridiculous. Then I decided it was me, so I wasted even more money and bought the 20S. Pairing is still a nightmare and the sound quality incredibly poor. Thought I would upgrade the HD speakers hoping that would fix the sound quality. NOPE. I'm done with Sena... never again. I will try something different like Cardo.

I worked around fighter jets most of my life so my hearing is not that great! They are much more louder and clearer than my old sena bluetooth headphones. Definitely like these.
