Couldn't be more pleased with this Dalton electronic calendar/clock! I got it for my 96 year old dad who has a bit of trouble remembering such things, and he LOVES it. It truly helps him feel more in control and aware to have it. It continually alternates between the day, date and time screen, and the screen that states whether it is morning, afternoon, evening or night, but stays on each screen a good bit of time. I was concerned that the 8" screen might not be big enough, but it's easy to read every single thing on the screen from across the room. Several others who have seen this clock in his room have been so impressed with it that they plan to get one for their own elderly relatives or even for themselves! It's that great! I had to do a bit of adjusting of the display when I received it, but the instructions were simple and I had it perfect in a matter of a few minutes. My only critique would be that I wish it had a battery backup so that if the power went out the clock would continue to display -- at least it promises to keep the time internally and be exact when the power does come back on. I would not let this stop me from buying this wonderful clock. Worth every penny!!

Purchased this product for my 95 years old mother. She is having short term memory loss, and used to look at the paper to see what day it was. The clock works well as advertised. She can look at the clock and see immediately what day and time it is. Everything is spelled out, no abbreviations, and the display is easy to read. Added to this is the reminder we added to take her medicine at the correct time. The reason I did not give it five stars is there was no instruction sheet. The controls are pretty intuitive but instructions would have helped.What would I like to see in future models, battery operation or at least battery backup and add the "atomic clock" functionality so time sets automatically.

I gave a one star rating because the item was shipped to me quickly. Unfortunately, the clock did not work at all, it didn't even power up. The clock I received may have just been defective, but because it seemed to be poorly manufactured I did not request a replacement.

I loved this clock until it stopped working and a square which read "Incorrect Time Setting" blocked the time display!The clock was approximately a year old!Great idea, but I'm going to see if I can get my money back b/c it should work longer than 12 months!

It's ok, but probably wouldn't purchase again. The clock feature is nice display.

Wonderful, gave as a gift to my 82 year old mother, loves it! Numbers and adjustable lighting works great for her eye sight.

I like the size if the message. I wish it had the option to turn off the feature that says 'Now it's Sunday evening". I would just like to see the day, time and date.

Absolutely the best clock for my 89 year old father because it keeps him on track taking his medications. Both my parents forget what day it is and a quick glance at this easy-to-read clock puts the day back in place. Ingenious idea that I'm thrilled I found.
