This book is very lush. Not only is it physically well made with a nice stiff spine, it also has thick sturdy pages. The photos are beautiful and plentiful. Lots of info on contouring and before and after photos on everyday women. Absolutely stunning transformations. This book definitely ranks in my top 5 makeup books and I probably have about 100 of them! I found this book informative and enjoyable. In my opinion it is a must have.

I have several of the top-rated makeup books and this one is by far the best. There are tips in here that I have not seen in books or countless you tube videos, such as don't apply blush to the apples of your cheeks if you have a round face and don't let highlighter powder sit on the surface of your skin. The photos are plentiful, the text helpful. There are many wearable looks. If I had to take one makeup book and/or you tube channel to a desert island (ridiculous, I know), it would be this one.

A very good book to learn and improve with. The different lessons are complete and easy to understand. The makeup techniques Gary teaches are creative and straightforward ... very happy I bought this book.

This book is AMAZING! I own a lot of makeup books but Simply Glamorous is one of my favorites out of all of them! The makeup in the book is absolutely stunning! I am EXTREMELY happy I purchased this book!

More detail is needed as to products and how they shine more, have more color, last longer.
