I was a skeptic just like everyone else. A better mousetrap? Right. Sure.While I was setting up the first few, the first one I put down snapped and caught a mouse before I was finished!I'm truly astonished. That first trap just caught the mouse's foot and it was struggling to get free. It didn't even seem to be in any particular pain, it was just annoyed. I picked it up with a plastic bag as a protector and dropped the whole thing into another plastic bag. Then I took it outside, opened the trap again using a plastic bag as a protector for my hand, squeezed the trap and the little thing fell to the ground and rapidly scurried away, seemingly not too badly injured.Put the trap back in the same place inside and it caught two more mice that night, one after another. They weren't so lucky. Both had their heads crushed and were stone dead.I experimented with different baits including peanut butter, chocolate sauce, and jelly and dough from a Pop Tart. Mice love PopTarts. They went through a whole box of mine.The one bait that seemed the most successful was a bit of peanut butter with part of one of the marshmallow pieces from a box of Lucky Charms. Boy do they love sweets!One trap popped but there was no mouse. Guess it got away. Two traps disappeared and I can't find them!! Yet.Four mice that I know of within the first few hours. And these things are so easy to set and bait in just a minute. No snapped fingers under metal bars on wooden bases while you try to set that hair-trigger. One squeeze and you're done,And these little harmless-looking plastic gadgets close hard and fast! Big bam and it's done!I've never written a review within hours of getting something ever before! But I've never been so amazingly impressed before.I'm fighting back against these filthy creatures that terrify me with sudden runs and make my home a filthy, dangerous mess. And I will win.

I bought some ineffective glue traps, but then bought these traps. The first night I put out four traps and got four mice. Each night I put out new traps I get more mice (who knew we had this many mice!). I have not had a single tripped trap without a clean catch. And they are cheap enough I dont try to reuse them. I just drop the trap/mouse in the trash. highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about these traps. We have purchased them three times now. We live out in the middle of nowhere and there are TONS of mice. They’ve been particularly bad this season. We love these traps, they are easy to set and work great. (And they don’t hurt when your six year old puts one under your bed and it snaps on your toes).Very easy to dispose of the mouse, like opening and closing a clip. They seem to stay nice and tight. We’ve had a few mice that have been caught by their leg and they still can’t escape.IMPORTANT: Sometimes when you go to reset the trap, it won’t click back into place. DO NOT THROW THE TRAP AWAY. I use the same plastic knife that I put the PB on with to lift up on the little lever above where the bait goes. The trap will engage.These do great inside and out. Easy to clean and I love that the bait “dish,” comes out.Easy. Lethal. What more could you want?

I’m not kidding, these traps are solid. I’ve had the traps for approximately 30 hours. One trap has caught 4 mice. I found an area that was most frequented and set 1 trap. This thing has me working around the clock disposing of mice. I did not realize how bad it was until I set the traps up. Apparently I found the beginning spot of their travels. My kitchen shares a wall with the garage. I just recently found mice droppings in boxes I have in my garage. It wasn’t very long before they tried to move into the house. I’ve never had mice until very recently.Very easy to set up. They’re super sensitive. So watch your fingers. You’d have to be negligent for you to get a finger pinched. So just take the time to read the instructions.There’s no mess. I have yet to have had a bloody mess. I can reuse the trap. I’ve reused one trap 4 times now.The only con: I thought I had 2/12 traps delivered broken. I had to fix them as a plastic piece wasn’t seated right. There was a plastic part inside the package separate from of the trap. I just spent a little time and fixed it myself. But honestly, the way these things perform, I still would’ve gave the highest rating even with damaged ones.
