A tidy little device, which fits just about anywhere and connects to anything. It also sounds decent - not high-end, of course, that's not it's target. But it's more than good enough for my fitness room! Versatile, picks up loads of FM and DAB+ stations, if you fit an even remotely decent aerial. But this should be done with ANY radio.Yes, the supplied manual is in German only, so you have to go online to find the international/multi-lingual one. But that's not an issue, really, because it's so dead simple to setup.A final thought: Needless to say, FM will always sound better than DAB, given moderate signal strength. Greater bandwidth and less processing!So this device does exactly what it says on the box...

Bought this for its DAB+ feature. It arrived in a couple of days. Easy to use and setup. Used atravel adaptor for for Europe style plug it comes with. Have plugged into an older workshop Makita DAB/FM radio and begrudged having to pay out £180 plus for a DAB+ replacement when the current radio is absolutely fine.This radio only has a 3.5mm stereo audio in input so bought a replacement phone to 3.5mm jack lead to replace the one it comes with. This worked a treat and the sound quality and clear screen are great. It tuned into over 70 radio stations and my area is often quite weak re signal strength.The RF aerial works but I am going to replace it with another raid bipolar aerial to improve signal.The remote is solid and easy to use.Don't let the all German manual it comes with put you off, it really is intuitive and there are English instructions on their website.Overall very pleased with this. It seems very well made and time will tell as it will be staying in my workshop which will vary in temperature and humidity.I have not rated the Bluetooth connectivity as I haven't used it.

I've wanted a replacement FM tuner for a while, then found this little beauty! It has DAB+, FM and internet streaming from a mobile via Bluetooth. Very easy to connect to an amplifier and aerial. The sound quality is great and the remote handset does not need to be near or even pointing at the unit to work. The only snag is that the manual is only in German and 72 pages long. It is available in English on the net for reading online. It is however easy to use. After setting up and tuning, it keeps it's settings even if switched completely off. There are 20 presets available for DAB and FM stations. A spare 5v UK mobile charger can be used instead of the supplied continental power supply.ADDITION - The only minor problem might be that the unit can only be contrlled by the remote. So look after it! If it is damaged or lost, the unit cannot be used without replacing the remote.

Our old 'seperates' Linn hifi only has an FM tuner. We had a Genus DAB adapter which provided DAB signals which was fed through the Aux input providing digital radio through the system. Unfortunately it seems that the radio stations are now going to start broadcasting on DAB+ rather than DAB, so sooner or later we would lose many of our favourite DAB radio stations - Classic FM foe examole will switch in January 2024.A quick internet search for DAB+ adapters gave us this Technisat item. A quick review showed it had the same audio & aerial connections as the old Genus one and the extra benefit of a TFT colour screen showing the station/music/signal etc. info. Set up was easy - power on and it asks you to select your language, and then it does a scan for stations. No issues there - all our regular stations were found plus more. Setting favourites was just as easy. All in all it works as expected and gets our old hifi system ready for DAB+.Another plus is it has bluetooth connectivity, so you can pair it to a bluetooth enabled device that has music files on it (e.g. our mobile phones) and you can play that music through your hifi sysstem.Now the negatives - main one (and reason for 4 stars) is this comes from Germany and the power adapter is a 2-pin one. It uses a seperate USB power cord though, so we just used a spare Apple phone charging adapter (little white triangular shaped one) which provides the required 5v 1A output. Second issue is it come with a German instruction manual, so you have to go to the Technisat website where there is an 'international english' manual that you can view/download.Lastly, the paperwork indicates it has a 2 year guarantee - use the product registration option on their website and enter your info and the serial number of the unit. Hopefully there won't be a need to claim, but its worth registering just in case.Hope this helps you decide whether to buy or not.

Our favourite radio station just moved to dab+, so our separates based whole house system needed a refresh. Could've gone down the wifi multi room route, but that would've cost hundreds. This little chap shoved in an aux socket just does the job perfectly. With dab+ and Bluetooth, it's got all our music covered. I even use it to cut down the cabling on our BT vinyl player. Proper German quality. Yes the instructions are in German but if you change the language to English when you first plug it in, you won't need it anyway.

This DAB adapter is a great quality unit. We live in an area where DAB reception is actually better than FM so it's nice to be able to listen to our favourite radio stations without the hiss associated with week FM signal reception. Sound quality is also great. I highly recommend this DAB adapter.

Purchased to replace an elderly DAB tuner and used with a bookshelf audio system this tuner works well and was very easy to set up. The remote control is intuitive and the display is easy to read. It was also easy to store a dozen or more favourite stations. I discarded the supplied power supply in favour of a UK alternative. Altogether highly recommended.

Sound through my Hi FI excellent. Easy to use and set up. You need to go onto the internet for an english translation
