DU-BRO Fishing Flag Clips for Stern Lights or Flag Poles

My Thoughts:I bought this the purpose of attaching flags to my Bimini poles. My boat doesn’t allow for a pole mount in an ideal location and this looked like it could work. I sort of messed up on the install with the foam tape… It didn’t specify that you needed to cut it in half and I ended up using it all on the top mount leaving just the zip tie on the bare metal. I will fix that later on… It does hold though at 42mph and gusts of wind.The Bottom Line:I looked at other clip options but I liked that this is truly universal and the pole diameter didn’t matter. Recommend if you want to use on any pole.

It went on just like it was supposed to but broke midway into the season. It was attached to our boats back light pole which is not always on so it got even less use than one would expect.

Ordered and installed in a snap, no issues. I mounted a small marine flag to my anchor light. Got up to cruising speed, around 30 MPH, looked back and my flag and light pole were GONE. The force of the wind snatched it out of it's socket and is now resting at the bottom of the Puget Sound.Fun Fact: You can buy replacement anchor lights here on Amazon as well.

Meh, it holds the flag. The design is odd though. You'd think the springs would give the flag some "flex or stretch room" but they do not even in the slightest. All the springs do is hold the mount clip in place. There is no "give" between flag and stern pole.The tie wrap pole mounts do not stay in place even when mounted as instructed with 2 side tape. My boat barely reaches the 65mph limit if I try hard but even at 45-50 the flag ends up bunching(ie flag mounts move close together) because the mounts will move on the stern light pole..The flag does however stay attached very well.

I was just expecting the clips but it came with the flag. I didn't know it came of the flag and I already bought a flag. When it comes to United States of America flag I don't think that any flag should ever be bought that are made in other countries. While I feel like the quality of the springs and the clip to which I thought I was ordering are great and made in the United States... I don't know how I feel about the complementary flag that you guys sent it's made in China

I have a very small flagpole attached to my vinyl fence similar to the size found on a boat. It's too narrow for most other options to allow the flag to freely fly. I have a metal loop at the top, but nothing else. Using this, I'm able to attach the lower grommet on the flag to the pole! FABULOUS!Great quality item, everything you need, 2 in a package!

They seem to be working well. Easy to install. Just have to keep an eye on the zip ties over time I would expect.

Product is good but the clips have a tendency to slip down on the light shaft. A little modification on my end, all is good.
