Does what it's supposed too.
Ordered this to put in my Amazon Basics safe where I keep my handguns. Great solution to prevent rust, and dryable/reusable.

Good product
Seems to work well, not sure how to test its efficiency. No moisture accumulation at least. Seems good quality overall.

Not bad not great
What I did learn is whenever the emblem stops being really blue is when it needs to be dried out. It never really changed To pink, just not blue. I would dry it out every 3-6 months for safes. I also have another humidity sensor in it as well to monitor the actually humidity.

Amazing product! I’ve had this in my gun safe for over 2 years now and I haven’t needed to microwave it yet. Easy to use, just place inside of gun safe and forget it. I like the color of the bag changes when it’s time to dry the pack out. As far as the lifespan of the product, I’m not entirely sure. But like I said, I’ve had it it my safe for over 2 years and haven’t had to reset it yet.

Work great, but do NOT overheat them in the microwave, of they will MELT!
I have a fridge with a moisture problem....bad seal. I initially bought 3 of these, and they made a huge difference. I used to have pooling of water at the bottom of my fridge from water running down side, and now totally dry. I now have 6 of these in my fridge because I recently bought 3 more. I believe these do have a shelf life of about a year or so...they will start to get a bitter smell after a while, despite how many times you dry them out. I always knew I needed to microwave them when I'd open the fridge and get a whiff of it, so I guess it wasn't all a bad thing, as far as giving me a signal they were moist, other than the pink color (which stops working after many uses).WHATEVER YOU DO, do NOT OVER-MIRCOWAVE these things! They will melt, and you'll have pellets all over the place. I learned the hard way initially. I do THREE bags at a time for 4 minutes on each side, 8 minutes max and then let them dry out by for any remaining moisture. At first, I had put 1 bag in there for 5 minutes and it almost caught on fire, so take caution!! The 3 I do all at once really do steam up the microwave, so prepare to wipe the door and sides down between each session. These do work...trust me! It is a bit of a pain microwaving them every week or so, but worth it.

Works great for guitar cases
I have used several sizes and brands of reusable desiccant packs and these are the best that I have tried. The relative humidity in the Southeastern US can be really high at times and it can be difficult and time consuming to monitor and keep desiccant packs microwaved and usable. These are a dream. One pack per case in the headstock area of the case keeps the average relative humidity at around 45% in my cases. They have a clear and easy to read, color coded indicator on the front side so you can tell when its time to microwave them again. Hint...make sure you know how many watts your microwave is. Then follow their instructions CAREFULLY for the appropriate number of minutes for your microwave's wattage output. I recommend going below their number of minutes for the first time until you get to know how many minutes will work for you. This is important or you may burn up your desiccant pack as some have done. It is also helpful if you weigh each one NEW as soon as you open the plastic package. The total weight of each one of mine averaged around 155 grams when new and dry. As they take on moisture you will see the weight rise.

They seem to work as well as could be expected
I’ve been using them for a couple years and when I microwave them they release a considerable amount of water. I don’t know how much it really helps, but I don’t think that it would be fair to expect more from them. There’s something sort of satisfying about microwaving the water out of them.

Does not last as long as it should
Works OK, but needs to be "recharged" often.
