I've been using this product for years now and find it to be the best for a clean and well done job.

These were absolutely faultless for extending a wire harness.I fitted 14’’ ape hangers to my motorcycle and this saved me fortune, hassle and most importantly saved so much time. I was dubious as I have minimal experience soldering electronics but after some prep and research it worked an absolute great and is solid.Can’t rate this product highly enough, simple and hassle-free.10/10

Does the job in a easy way. Just not as reliable as soldering and heat shrink (as with these you sometimes get dry joins)

I ordered one batch to give these a go. They’re simple to use and work very well. Now I move order more.

decided to have a go with these connectors on some outdoor 12v lighting in my garden. Worked really well and looks neat and tidy. Took a few goes trial and error to work out the best way of heating them. I found that using a heat gun on a low setting and holding it maybe 15cm away worked the best - gradually heating the connector up. You'll be able to see the heatshrink contract and seal to the wire and then keeping that same distance maybe 10 seconds later I would see the solder start to flow and connect the 2 wires. All in all very succesfull and will buy more if required. I found that getting the heatgun too close just melted the wire and didnt make a good connection at all - and definately wouldn't have been waterproof. Slow and steady is the way to do these.Also make sure you get the correct size - i bought a selection pack to start with so this pack was extra of the correct size that i needed

Was thinking this could go either way today replacing part of the harness on a smashed car. I used a Dremel gas soldering iron with the blow torch type of end but no flame just heat. Worked bang on. Better if you heat all the way around the joint to shrink it and around the solder. You’ll see it melt and then leave it alone. The plastic sets really hard after. Really good. Won’t pull apart no way.

The connectors are easy to use, provide a solid connection, and provide a completely waterproof joint. I love these.

j'avais des problèmes de connexion électrique sur mes spots de piscine, installés depuis 2 ans.mes câbles, assez fins, type câble ethernet, étaient soudés et simplement 'noyés dans une gaine thermo noire classique et à la longue le vert de gris provoque des ruptures, a tel point que pour ressouder le cuivre (pourtant raccourci de plusieurs cms )j'ai du utiliser du décapant desoxydant metaux pou que la soudure 'prenne'.en effet j'ai déposer un premier point de soudure avant de chauffer afin d'éviter que les deux fils a relier ne bouge. sur du fil neuf je ne pense pas que cela soit nécessaire.sinon en chauffant au moins à 350° ca fait le job!l'anneau d'étain fond sur le cuivre, les 2 bagues en silicone (?) fondent sur l'isolant formant un tout solidaire et apparemment fiable, la transparence aide a savoir quand arrêter de chauffer, franchement recommandable. mes spots s'éclairent de nouveau, le bonheur...

Veramente utili e facili da utilizzare. Non li conoscevo, ma appena arrivati ho potuto constatare la facilità d'uso e valutare la semplicità, poter saldare due fili senza bisogno di un saldsatore, un nsemplice fon e tutto è fatto. Naturalmente esistono in varie misure a seconda della nostra necessità.

Worked well for 24G wire. Be careful not to apply too much heat on sleeve.
